The Official Valentine’s Day Contest Support Thread 2026

Yay @FrancesScott and the other winners that I don't know!

I now have two contest winners in my "Stories I have beta-read," list, which is almost like winning myself, right??
Very much so (seriously). Penny, Agent Special Sauce. I was just thinking today of the patience that you and Nynah showed with 'Letting the Sunshine In', particularly when working out where to curb my excesses and where to let things run.

I just have one comp winner I alphaed / betaed / proof-read, all of which I didn’t get acknowledged for. Help should always be acknowledged unless the helper explicitly doesn’t want it. This is the way.

Despite the fact that my story never actually appeared on the list for no reason I could see, I seem to have been affected by a sweep. I jumped from 4.43 to 4.57 overnight. At least I got another little red H out of it.

I’m sorry - I did try (twice) as you know 😢

Your prize is your own, but if you intend to give it away I suggest the Trevor Project as a worthy recipient (https://www.thetrevorproject.org/), as its mission is to prevent suicides among young LGBTQ+ people
The site confirmed that they did this. Given the subject matter of the story, it’s a very appropriate and deserving recipient of the cash. Thank you to @redgarters for the recommendation.

Congratulations to the other two winners: @storyteller19 and @FrancesScott, both of your works were terrific! I didn't want to leave a comment until I got a chance to read a few of the other entries.

Starting with the Halloween contest in 2021, I began a streak of writing for every special contest. I've been lucky to win three of the contests. This last entry was an intense challenge for me, as it was, by far, the longest work I've written for Literotica, and covered a few topics that would've been too personal to touch a few years ago. I would say this was the motivation I needed to finally finish my novel, but alas, I already have new ideas to explore for both the April Fool's Day and Nude Day contests before I can get back to the novel. It was a special thrill to win in a different category than my previous two winners. It makes me want to take more risks while writing, I say as I'm 10,000 words into another Lesbian Sex category tale for April Fool's Day.

Thank you to this site for providing an outlet for my creativity and a way to continue to grow in my writing. Thank you to all the tremendous writers on this site and on these forums. I don't comment on the forums often, but I do lurk and read frequently.

Your story Kissing at the Kissing Booth was on the list of entries.

Thank you. And thank you for the lovely comment on Abby’s Sapphic Deliberations.
