The Outlook

He was caught, but he didn't mind too much. What he did mind however, was the image that she was setting with the clothing which clung readily to her body, leaving little to his imagination, but at the same time putting way too much into his imagination. He closed his eyes, blushing, before looking away.

"You know...I think I'd give you a nine-point-six out of ten." He looked over her body now, resigning to his fate, and deciding to at least go out saying whatever the damn hell he pleased. He didn't even try to kick free of her ankle... In fact, he seemed to ready for this. If he had expected this outcome, why do it in the first place? He either had a plan or was just plain stupid.

He quickly reached forward, grabbing her sarong, and then pulling it as hard as he could. The fabric didn't withstand the pull, however, causing it to rip.

...

He was JUST PLAIN STUPID...

She sighed. There were times when people were just damn stupid. The sound of tearing cloth rent the air as her torn sarong fluttered to her feet. The moonlight caught the silver delicate chain at her waist. It reflected off of the small charm attached to it, a small möbius strip. In the blink of an eye, preferably his, the tip of a very sharp and dangerous sword was pointed at his throat.

"Unlike Kate, I happen to be very well versed in swords. That was one of my favorite sarongs, sir. You will go to the local shops, buy another to replace it and have it sent to my home. Don't bother bringing it yourself, you aren't welcome. Just have them send it to the mansion. She pressed the tip lightly into his throat, but not enough to draw blood... this time. "No one and I mean no one, takes such an advantage of me without my consent." She turned on her heel and stalked off into the night.

A stroll along the shoreline for the witch, her pale blue summer dress ends just above her knees which allows for the occasional stray into deeper water.

Keen eyes spot a couple of couples, frolicking in and near the ocean so, not wanting to disturb, she heads up the beach towards the Outlook, climbing the steps and ordering a wine upon reaching the top.

She leans on the rail and smiles. It is so beautiful here.

*It was glorious to feel her letting go of the apprehension she'd held so close. Each meeting of their lips was more insistent; and then she'd pulled back. Her cheeks were the color of fresh cherries, but the shyness was only part of the source. When she took his hands, he followed obediently. Their eyes were locked in a passionate stare, neither one wishing to see it broken. Eventually they left the water, bodies dripping with the salty remnants of the sea. He felt his heart beating faster now, seeing her take the lead.*

She wasn't entirely sure what she was doing. Once they reached the shore she let go of his hands long enough to toss her clothing and towel off of the blanket that was left atop the cooler. A wave of shyness overcame her as she unfolded the blanket and placed it on the ground, even more so once she knelt down on it, reaching to grab his hands and pulling them in nonverbal command to join her. What now? She gazed up at him, eyes twinkling by moonlight, she was trembling out of nervousness and air chill factor. She made her boldest move, and wasn't sure how to recover or advance; she relied now on him.

My apologies on lack of speedy responses: my mind is very scattered at the moment.

(S'ok dear. No worries. :))

*Had the whole day passed already? The moon's presence said emphatically that it had. He sat next to her when she pulled at his hands, facing her and keeping her hands held. He stole more kisses from her and before he knew it, he was pressing against her, leaning his chest into her until her balance was tipped. His hands now held hers at the wrists, gently out to the sides of her head. His mouth met hers over and over, pulling back every few times to look into her eyes.*

She let the fall happen; she was so overwhelmed with emotion and desire that she didn't hesitate or brace her fall. As her back hit the blanket and his hands took her wrists that aching need deep within her surged. She closed her eyes for a moment to exhale before kisses fell on her lips. She kissed back each time, intensely; whenever he'd pause to gaze into her eyes, the same lustful glimmer mirrored back into his. She squirmed a little, toes curling into the balls of her feet.

*Face palm* only I would freaking fast-forward the time of day several hours without realizing it... Have you seen my brain? if you have, can you tell it to come home? *rubs my temples* Oyvey... apologies again.

(I've seen it, and it's a bit jumbled. No worries, my mention of it was more out of having passed the time so easily rather than noting the switch in time literally)

*His kisses started to stray as he felt the heat and friction of their bodies pressing together. First her cheek, then the line of her jaw, then down her neck, trailing back upward, seeking her lips again. He paused again, looking down at her. He smiled and released her wrists, holding himself up now with hands planted just under her triceps.*

So, Kay....I can see something shining in your eyes, and it isn't the moon. Penny for your thoughts?

Small gasps escaped her as he kissed down her jaw, to her neck, and back; any sense of embarrassment from not containing those sounds were so far away from her mind, as she was lost in the moment. She gazed up upon him as he paused and released her. A hint of disappointment stirred, but ebbed; she smiled a little as he asked the question.

"It's getting late..." she said, squirming to restrain herself; of course it wasn't what she wanted to say: but she knew it was probably for the best, and therefore let her feelings become a secondary thought. "We should... probably head back to our room."

She said 'our room' as if it were the most natural thing to say in the entire world. She didn't make a motion to rise, though, and waited for him to either catch her on her little white lie, or embrace it and agree.

*His smile was almost a product of hers. She noted the hour and he nodded*

Our room, eh?

*He paused a moment, just to watch her reaction before the smile overtook him again*

You're right, of course. It's so easy to lose track of time with you....

*His cheeks burned a bit at the admission. He leaned up, reluctant to be away from the familiar crush of his body on hers. Rising to his feet, he offered her a hand to help her up as well. Together they folded the blanket, and while she grabbed her clothes, he took hold of the cooler. He chuckled a bit at the thought of the refreshments inside, still being chilled. Maybe they could make a lunch out of it.

When she was ready, they set off back to the Outlook proper, his free hand wrapping around her waist, holding her closer as they walked*

Her reaction was predictable. She blushed when she heard him say it back to her, sort of dazed that she'd actually go so bold as to claiming such things in a togetherness sort of way even though spoken monogamy hadn't been brought to the forefront.

She tended to the blanket with him, a smile brightening her face. She let his sentence echo in her head over and over... She actually liked the idea of him losing track of time with her, just as she liked the action of losing time of time with him.

As they wandered back to the Outlook, her clothes in one arm, the cooler and blanket in his hand, she placed her empty hand atop his shoulder, slightly leaning. Once they reached the steps of the balcony they detached; she was first to walk up this time, allowing him to follow. She opened the sliding glass door to the lounge and quietly made her way towards their room.

She watched with a smile as fr33k and someone she had yet to meet wandered across the decking and inside the building, they only had eyes for each other...just as it should be.

She finished her wine and, thanking the waitress who appeared to refill the glass, declined a second and left, skipping lightly back down the steps to the sands.

A slow, leisurely walk back to her cottage was in order...

*Once they'd made it back indoors, it took a few seconds for his eyes to readjust to the lighting. Their footfalls were louder in the quiet of the empty lounge, each step echoing as they moved down the hall. He waited for her to open the door before following her in. He set the cooler and blanket down in a corner of the room, moving over to her and seizing her for another kiss, fire and passion fading to simplicity. He smiled as he withdrew, removing his shirt for a second time, setting it aside and climbing into bed. As he waited for her to join him, he caught her eyes. That bit of shyness, he suspected, would always remain, but there was something outshining it now.*

So, does that make this our bed too? I kind of like the sound of that.

*He patted the sheets next to him, a grin on his face*

She accepted the kiss placing both hands on either shoulder as she kissed back. She giggled a little as their lips parted, deviousness joining shyness in her eyes: conflicted, sure, but it was her, and that's just the way she was.

She nodded at him and crossed her arms in a playfully stern sort of way. "Yes, it would make it OUR bed." she giggled, her arms fell to her side as she did so. "And I too like the sound of that."

To sleep in her bathing suit, now, that would be a first. She raised her hand, her index finger pointing upward: indicating 'one moment'. She turned to the dresser and grabbed out a little night gown: it was simple, really, just a flimsy piece of teal silk cut high enough to be reminiscent of modest lingerie, and tight enough too. She ventured out of the room into the joining bathroom and undressed, then pulled the little dress on. She hesitated before she walked back out: she had forgotten something any self-respecting woman would wear to bed. She blushed a little and opened the door. She wouldn't tell, and she hoped he wouldn't notice, though, she's sure he would. She quickly climbed into bed and shimmied down to the right position; she wasn't sure if she wanted to face him tonight, or take on the same position they had the night before... it took her a moment to decide, and when she did she faced him, smiling.

*Her upheld finger made him quirk a brow. She disappeared into the bathroom, only to return wearing a nightie. It was quite fetching, and his smile was edged with deviancy, but he kept himself in check. The hour was late, and sleep tugged at his eyelids. He could see it doing the same to hers even as she smiled at him. He rested one arm under his own head, beneath a pillow to support his neck, the other he laid on her hip, fingertips toying with the fabric of her night gown. In one caress, he happened to notice the absence of any undergarments, but he made no mention. She'd gone directly from swimsuit to gown, and to stop in between might've been more trouble than it was worth. Even so, his smile did dip into a wolfishness for a moment. His hand left her hip for a moment only to click off the light, returning instantly to its former spot*

Good night Kay. Sleep well. See ya in the morning.

*He found her lips in the dark, after a few fumbling movements, leaving one last kiss lingering on her lips as they drifted off to sleep*

"Good night," she responded sleepily. "Pleasant dreams... see you in the morning."

His kiss was reciprocated, even though here eyes were now closed. She drifted off, deeply, into a dreamless, motionless sleep.

Dressed warmly, for there was a chilly wind coming from the sea, with a shawl over her shoulders, she clutched a cup of hot coffee between her hands to warm them as she stood looking over the view. Celtic music piped through the room.

Tonight, she locates a spot, somewhere on the hillside, where she can look at the sea, let down her hair and relax.

Quick steps took her into the interior of the Outlook. A brief glance around showed her that no one but the staff was currently about. A brief stop at the rail to admire the view before heading towards the stairs and running lightly down them. At the bottom, she paused and decided to go a different way today. She headed up the slope and found a vantage point beneath a tree.

It had been some time since the last he had dwelt in The Outlook. Although the atmosphere was as conforting as always, he decided it was better for search for some company. He still had time to kill...

But no one was visible. No one inside, at least. Taking his time to walk slowly, he went to the railing, brathing deeply and looking into the cloudy sky.

*floating on a ravenblack pool chair*

Having missed both men as she passed through, she was blissfully unawareness of their presence inside. Leaning back on her hands she let her eyes wander over vast sea before her. The sound of the gulls flying over the pier, the occasional snap of a twig somewhere behind her were the only sounds that snuck into her private contemplation.

He could see that a long, redhaired woman laid at the slope, just beneath a tree. He could stay down there, alone, in the windy bacony, and allowe her a place of her own to keep on her introversive perspective. However, he instead decided to join her under the tree, walking slowly, until a twig parted.

Quietly as he could, he sat down beside her, allowing both of them the silence of the sea.

She sensed him even before he arrived and only turned her head toward him as he sat down beside her.

"Good day to you, sir. What brings you to the Outlook? I don't believe we have met before."

"Good day, good woman."

He adjusted himself beside her, locking his legs togheter.

"I just look for company, someone to chat to... to spend delightful time with someone. And that, of course, may be any kind of delight."

He winked meaningfully, smiling.

"We have not, my dear. But I've hear of your exploits."

She strove for an innocent look, "Why sir, I don't ever know what you mean," the look was utterly destroyed by her impish grin. Holding out her hand, "I'm Cait or DW and you would be?"
