Noon waves down Avellan. "Hey, why not come up here and join us? Have a seat and all?"

I look up at Noon and nod. Shifting into my smoke form I fly up to the deck and hover over towards an empty seat. I shift back to my human form, sitting on the seat.

So, what are we talking about?

"I can't be that way. I can hear things about the series but when I start reading, I'm caught up in where I'm at that I tend to forget about what was said."

Noon gives her another roguish grin, glancing down at her legs for a second before he shakes his head. "Well, I could wish I would. I suppose I just have a really good memory, my dear friend." He tries to keep his smile from appearing too wolfish, but he's not sure he quite succeeds.

He finishes his mojito as he rises up out of his seat, heading back to the bar for another drink.

Books! Particularly The Song of Ice and Fire series.

I look at Cait and smile.

I never heard of that series.

Noon fetches his second beverage and begins making his way back over to the pair, sipping from it. "It's a fantasy series. Written by George R. R. Martin. Very dark, very heavy on political maneuvering and scheming. It makes for a good read."

He nods as he slips back into his seat.

*Flying in from somewhere else in my white misty form, I change into my elfin form and take a seat next to Cait.

Eve' nin' Cait, Noon, Avellan. So what are we talking about? ;) :D

Grinning at Thyri, I nod to her.

Ave Lady Thyri. How are you today?

Noon chuckles at Thyri, then pauses to take a second to admire her new av before he slips over behind her to wrap his arms around her, hugging her in her seat. "We were talking about books. Good to see you, sweetie." He leans down to kiss her cheek and then tries to imagine finding to room to squeeze in between Cait and Thyri to sit back down.

*Scooting over a little to make room for the charming rogue, I grin.

You know there is a cost of admission? I seem to have nothing to drink at the moment.

He grins broadly and then nods. "That sounds pretty reasonable-would you like some sweettea, then? Or perhaps something stronger?" I'd be honored to fetch drinks for two such lovely ladies-almost any time." He winks at her and then makes his way back over to the bar.

"Would you like me to bring you another, Cait, also?" He glances back over his shoulder to her.

Yes, sweettea is always good. Thank you, Noon. It is good to see you back. We missed you.

Cait I had an idea for something you, Glad, and I could write together sometime when we all feel ready. I added it to my idea post: #14.

Nice, Milady. From my end, it'll probably have to wait. *grins* I'm getting ready to add yet another storyline (with Blade) to my growing list. Speaking of stories, how's your writing coming along? Has your Muse been poking?

Yeah, I'd prefer to wait a little too, but I had the idea and wanted to get it down. It came so fast that I'm still not sure I explained it the way I meant to, but its enough to remind me for later.

I wrote a post last night for the one role play I still have active at the moment. My co-writer only sent me her post on Monday morning, so I turned it around in one day. I'd say that's good for me right now. Before this, I'd put them off until the weekend. Maybe I'm improving?

He scoops up a couple of drinks from the bar, a hot chocolate for Cait (just a guess, really) and a typical sweettea for Thyri. He strolls back over casually, handing down the tea to Thyri and then the other glass to Cait before sliding into his seat between them. He wiggles up against Thyri playfully, grinning at her.

"Well, it's nice to know I was missed, darlin'. I missed you guys too-hated being away. It's good to be back. Hopefully I should have things under a bit more control for the next few days." He smiles again as he stretches out and then relaxes into place.

*Leaning in close to him, snuggling, letting a hand rest on his leg.

Thanks again for the tea. Were you kept away by some troubles? I hope things are better for you now.

Sighing, I lean back in the seat and gaze out at the ocean. The site of the sun reflecting off the water provides a wonderful view.

Noon chuckles at this comment, unable to help himself. "Is this a common problem for you, darlin'?"

*Giggling*

Yeah, you could say that. My muse doesn't inspire, she vomits! The idea comes to me and the words just begin to spew! :D

Sounds like you're making progress. Slow and easy, that's what I'm always saying.

She accepted the hot chocolate from Noon with a smile and a murmured thanks. (Good guess)Taking a sip, she relaxed back in her recliner and idly listened to the conversation
