I am a smart ass every day. :p

Reading stimulates the same areas of the brain that are important for writing. Your theory is quite founded.

Yes, and today, I got an inspiration for a new idea to add to my idea post. It might be one of the better ones.

He nods thoughtfully. "Sounds like a good theory to me, luv. Reading inspires me to write. In fact, sometimes it's made me want to write a book, since I'll occasionally read a phrase or paragraph and think, 'I could/would have written that better than that.' Of course, perhaps that's just my enormous ego."

He grins at her and reaches down to give her bottom a playful pinch. "Glad to know you've found your inspiration, though."

*Yelps and jumps a bit, smacking his arm playfully.

I sometimes think that too. All these mediocre books that have been published, and so many good writers here who struggle to get recognition. And this is just one site. Imagine all over the internet how many there are.

He smiles. "Yes, sometimes, bad writers managed to get published. But there's so much writing talent in the world that I find it daunting to actually attempt to write a book." He shrugs lightly, ignoring the slap on his arm gracefully, as though he'd never done anything to incite it.

Don't make me throw a pie at you.

Oooh, pie? There's pie? What kind?

*Ears perk up*

What's this about depth and wetness?

I chuckle at his question.

This lovely elven lady thought it would be a good idea to push me off the pier and into the water. I think she knew that water is one of my weaknesses.

Whatever I have handy. *grin*

Don't make me dress you up like a cheesecake.

Okay... you got me there, Raven. Damn.

Avellan was pondering how deep the water was off the pier. I just wnated to help hi find out.

Aww, now, couldn't you be more like Noon and not hold any grudges?

Well you are quite the helpful type, Thyri...*grins mischievously*

That pic is pretty funny, Raven.

He grins at her wickedly and then shakes his head slightly. "I may not hold grudges easily, my dear, but I do remember debts that I'm owed." Laughs as he lets his toothy grin show.

"But yes, this talk of depth certain makes me think of, erm, certain depths." He whistles innocently.

That's what I like about you two, always thinking the best of me.....or is that 'thinking about the best part of me?'

That's parts, plural. :p

he laughs at the interchange. "Well, I would agree with fr33k, but I'd have a difficult time specifying exactly which 'parts' of you are the best." He winks at her playfully and then leans in to kiss her cheek.
