Krista heard Trevor come into the kitchen and she smiled, though it faltered a bit as he held out her phone to her. She frowned a bit before taking it, "Thanks," though she knew just by the fact someone had called it was not a good sign.
She glanced at the number before calling her voice mail and listening to the message. Sure enough, just as she predicted it, it wasn't the greatest of news. She sighed as she ended the call, "I hate to do this, but I have to go. It's my dad, he needs me."
Krista stepped over to Trevor and gave him a soft kiss, "I wish I didn't have to though." She kissed him again softly before she started to step around him, "Maybe you can give me a rain check on the rest of the night." She moved to her bag and start to rummage through it to get to her clothes. Standing up she slipped the towel from herself and started to dress.
Krista hated leaving him like this, but then her dad never calls her home unless it was important. She glanced to him again as she finished getting dressed, "Don't miss me too much," she winked at him before grabbing up her bag, giving him another kiss good bye and leaving.
She sighed as she got in her car and headed home. Krista hoped it wasn't anything truly bad, but there was only one way to find out. She glanced back one last time where she had been, wishing she was still in the bed with Trevor. Starting the car, Krista headed home.
