The real american sniper was a hate-filled psycho.

Is that right?

Even those dastardly libruls that served their country?

And some have been snipers. Some snipers have been minorities one in fact that has written a book. While they may not have killed quite as many as Kyle or saved as many American and Coalition lives they still did the job they were trained to do.

So why the hatred by all you self proclaimed progressives for Kyle? Is it because he is white, a religious conservative/Republican from Texas who God forbid agreed to be interviewed on Fox News Channel, because he wrote a book about his experiences and made money? Is it because his story has been made into a successful movie that makes the Lib elite in the media foam at the mouth and you need to parrot their bias and hatred for the military?

Or is it because he successfully killed the enemy who were trying to kill his brothers at arms?

I assume you feel that way because of personal experience and if thats the case there is no apology I or anyone can give to make that right.

Feel what way?? I don't need an apology.....I feel fine.

I will respectfully disagree that Republican law makers (and or Presidents) have an attitude of "Fuck vets and military personnel pay/benefits."

Then why do they 100% vote against vets, military personnel and their pay/benefits?

Last time I checked trying to cut deny someones pay/benefits is about as "fuck you" as it gets.

Say what you want but you can't substantiate that claim of any party and especially not of me.

Yes I can...their voting record speaks loud and clear......so does yours. How bout you take some personal responsibility for the political power you wield and own how you vote? Or are you going to give us the old GOP' "BUTT....BUTT!! BUTT!!!" brand of responsibility.

You vote republican, republicans are no friend of veterans....which gets back to me laughing about how absurd they are running about with all their flag waving and "patriotism"

lol yea right up until they have to shell out the Benjamins for it. Then it's all "OHHHh fuck that, gubbmint evil!! Fucking gubbmitn welfare parasites!! Buy more F22's from our homies instead!!"

I don't understand the point of all of this.

He went and did what his government asked him to do.

Thousands..no MILLIONS of Americans have had to do the same.

From what I'm told you suck it up and do it...and usually deal wit the horror of it later.

This is just more American bashing...different song.

American bashing?

Oh.

You mean like our American President is getting bashed right now for his supposedly "non-love" of America? The kind of shitty bashing he's been getting for his being American since Day One and even before that?

That kinda American bashing?

Yeah, keep singing that song. The chorus is the main hook, I hear.

Dude, you have a really distorted view of the GOP when it comes to the military.

How so? Are you claiming they voted FOR veteran/VA/Military personnel pay/benefits? Because if so you might want to call uncle Sam and tell him he's all ate up in the records department according to you.

Otherwise please point out my error, I highly suggest with proof because I've got a mountain of evidence backing my shit up...vote records and money flow by far are the most damning to your position.

What'chya got? show us all the official republican love for veterans BEYOND lip service...

Lets see the policy/funding/laws republicans support that help vets man.

VA? Nope...GI BILL? Nope...Disability pay? Nope.....Medical Care? Nope.....Housing? Nope....

You know what the GOP DID vote for? Moar subs...moar bombs...moar KBR...Moar war....Moar gunz...moar products of all kinds heyyyy they know a guy who makes that!! Spend baby spend no amount is too much, in fact I'm pretty certain since he pulled out of Iraq like he was elected to do the GOP have been on about a non stop bitch fit about how Obama isn't doing(spending) enough for the crusades and way to much for the people of the US.

WTF has the GOP done for vets in the past 1/4 century? Hmmm? Bumper magnets and prayers don't count.

He sure doesn't act like a Citizen of the USA with his world view!

By all means, then, educate us on the proper worldview of a Citizen of the USA!

*pops popcorn*

You gots to love the military, but not want to take care of them once they come home.
You have to bash Islam at all times, whether or not they've done anything wrong.
You have to say "America is a Christian Nation" always, even though the "official religion" of the country is football.
You have to watch Fox News and agree with everything the blondes say.

Oh look a bump showing FGB on a totally unfounded and unexplained Obama hate rant.....

FGB must hate America...anyone who criticizes POTUS is anti-american.

You, too, remember the GOP saying this to everyone: Criticizing the POTUS was akin to treason. Wow, things change when the man in the White House ain't White.

And Israel too...criticizing or not 110% supporting anything, and DO I mean fuckin ANYTHING Israel says or does? Antisemitic......

The School-girl Beiber crush on Israel the GOP has makes me wonder if they know they can't be loyal to two countries.

"Court reverses $1.35M awarded to Jesse Ventura in 'American Sniper' defamation case"

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/14/politics/chris-kyle-jesse-ventura-american-sniper/index.html

I'm surprised. The testimony seemed reasonably clear to me.

Another trial? So Jesse has to decide whether to double down on being an asshole in order to protect his honor. It's a no-win scenario.

My Kindle copy updated and deleted the incident, or most of it, the last time I looked at the book. I wonder if it will magically re-appear the next time I try to look at it.

So you cut and pasted and gave your opinion...very moving stuff really. I could call Malcolm X a hateful racist man.

Malcolm X was a racist, hateful man. Then when he returned from his Hajj, he recanted all his racist, hateful ways. That's what got him killed.

Bullshit, it was never in the book.

Oh contraire, mon frere - It may not have been in the copy you read, but that is one edition, and not the same as "never in the book"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Ventura#Chris_Kyle_controversy

"Although Kyle, who wrote about the alleged incident in his book but did not mention Ventura by name, said he approached Ventura and asked him to tone down his voice because the families of SEAL personnel were present, Ventura allegedly said to Kyle that the SEALs "deserved to lose a few guys." Kyle said he responded by punching Ventura.[127][128]"

"On August 7, 2014, U.S. District Judge Richard H. Kyle (no relation to Chris Kyle) upheld the jury's award of $500,000 in defamation damages and adopted the jury's advisory award of $1,345,477.25 in unjust enrichment as, "reasonable and supported by a preponderance of the evidence." Attorneys for Kyle's estate said that the defamation damages would be covered by HarperCollins' libel insurance. The unjust enrichment award was not covered by insurance and must be paid from Kyle's estate assets. Following the verdict, HarperCollins announced that it would pull the sub-chapter "Punching out Scruff Face" from all future editions of the book.[140]"

But he didn't mention Ventura by name.

But he didn't mention Ventura by name.

You might want to recheck your facts. He didn't claim it in the book. He did later on Fox.

"...Yet again, the story eventually developed another intriguing twist when Kyle elaborated upon it during a 2012 appearance on Fox News channel's The O'Reilly Factor. During that segment, Kyle claimed the previously unnamed individual he described was none other than Jesse Ventura, the former professional wrestler, governor of Minnesota, and member of the Navy's Underwater Demolition Teams during the Vietnam War era..."

http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/kyleclaims.asp

It seems while Mr. Kile was one of the most deadly snipers in history, he was also one of the biggest liars, which is to bad. No one is perfect though, so the real verifiable things he did shouldn't be ignored because he was prone to fabrication.

Real accomplishments are always over shadowed when tall stories are added to the mix. The problem is, once one is found to be untrue, how do you take that person at their word and believe all the rest? I can't, unless it's backed by a third, fourth or other party observation.
