The Rebellion Boils!

The independent Democratic base wasn't in the party. They were only there for Bernie. They and Bernie (like Trump with the Republicans) were just trying to steal a party. They deserted when Bernie didn't manage to steal the party. They should start their own party and you should probably stop saying this has much to do with the Democratic Party at all. Now maybe Elizabeth Warren or someone similar to her, who is actually a Democrat, might manage to do something with a more liberal aspect of the party.

And, no, the Democrats didn't lose the election by what they did. They were sandbagged by a foreign government and a lying and hate mongering codefendent.[/QUOTE]

I don't care who you are, that is just funny as hell. More Libbie Waa Waa Waa than should be allowed in a week.

Bush-era White House attorney: I’m worried about KGB agents in the West Wing or National Security Council

As the Trump "Gang" infiltrates the Mil-Ind Complex::rolleyes:

“People are not being honest about their foreign contacts, and talk about this ‘deep state theory’ as if there are somehow Obama moles in the government under the Trump administration,” Painter went on. “It’s the KGB agents running around the west wing or the national security council.

Even host Don Lemon was shocked by the comments. “Wow, wow!” he exclaimed. “That is a pretty strong — that’s pretty strong, Richard.”

It is not just from the left that the Rebellion exists!

Plus there is always Mikey and the 25th Amendment to worry about too.

Dem senator slams Steve King for ‘white babies’ tweet: He heads the ‘Make America White Again’ movement

Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) on Monday chastised Sen. Steve King (R-IA) over his “despicable” claim that “we can’t restore out civilization with somebody else’s babies,” explaining to CNN’s Jake Tapper that he was exactly type of person King was talking about.

“Steve King is the leader of the ‘Make America White Again’ movement,” Menendez said of his colleagues comments. “and the reality is I guess ‘somebody else’s baby’ is someone like me. Who was born in the United States from parents who fled Cuba and came to the greatest country in the world.”

Corn Husking Parasite, Rep Steve King put his foot up his own ass so deeep!

I won’t defend Trump — not now, not in the future’: Paul Ryan caught on tape trashing Trump before election

Conservative website Breitbart continued their war on House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) on Monday night, releasing audio taken just prior to the election saying he had no interest in sticking up for Donald Trump.

Bretbart.com has long been known for attacking Ryan on orders from chairman Steve Bannon, with the current senior adviser to Trump once telling his staffers “Paul Ryan is the enemy.”

Monday evening, as Ryan was fending off a CBO report stating his health care plan would leave an additional 14 million Americans without health insurance in 2018, the website chose to create friction between the House Speaker and President Trump.

In the audio taken during a private October conference call with House Republican members, Ryan has few kind words for then-GOP presidential nominee Trump.

“I am not going to defend Donald Trump not now, not in the future,” Ryan can be heard saying.

The Rebellion has been brewing a while. When will Ryan and Pence pull this patsy's plug?

Fox & Friends attacks T-shirts promoting ‘Journalism Matters’ for ‘cashing in on anti-Trump rhetoric’

Fox News accused newspapers of “cashing in on anti-President Trump rhetoric” for selling T-shirts that promote journalism.

During Tuesday morning’s Fox & Friends program, newsreader Heather Childers reported that The Washington Post is selling a shirt with the slogan “Democracy Dies in Darkness”, The Los Angeles Times is offering a shirt that says “Journalism Matters” and The Chicago Tribune is marketing a shirt with the line “Speaking truth to power since 1847.”

“Media bias on full display,” Childers charged. “Newspapers now cashing in on T-shirts splashed with anti-President Trump rhetoric.”

Classy! They could have been "Fuck Bannon and his little Trump too!"

Taunting Trump: How the campaign to not ‘normalize’ the president is driving him bonkers

“Resistance” comes in many forms. In discussions about how to deal with the fear and alarm ignited by Donald Trump, no word has been used more frequently than “normalize.” Democrats and progressives engage in almost daily protest rallies to defy Trump’s agenda. But perhaps the most successful component of the anti-Trump movement has been its willingness to challenge his legitimacy. The popular slogan and hashtag “#Not My President” doesn’t mean that people think the November election results were rigged, but that Trump’s Electoral Vote majority doesn’t translate into a popular mandate and that his views and policies don’t reflect the popular will. The anti-Trump movement refuses to “normalize” a president whom they view as an authoritarian, even a neo-fascist, who violates that basic norms of democracy and the rule of law. By poking fun at Trump and exposing his narcissism, conflicts-of-interest, and pathological lies, his opponents are undermining his credibility and destabilizing his presidency as much as any marches and demonstrations.

Entertainment: Five nights a week, CBS “Late Night” host Stephen Colbert mocks Trump with jokes that depict him as a bumbling buffoon. Comedians Bill Maher, Samantha Bee, Trevor Noah, and John Oliver taunt Trump on a weekly basis, with no pretense to be even-handed. “Saturday Night Live’s” sketches eviscerate Trump each week, none more than Alec Baldwin’s uncanny impersonation and acerbic barbs directed at the Trump.

Trump can’t stand the stings. In December, Trump tweeted: “Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.” In January, five days before his inauguration, Trump still couldn’t contain himself, tweeting: “@NBCNews is bad but Saturday Night Live is the worst of NBC. Not funny, cast is terrible, always a complete hit job. Really bad television!” These reactions expose his inability to laugh at himself, a characteristic of all narcissists.

Pour it on, the Trumpanzy will break soon!

Republican Carly Fiorina calls for ‘special prosecutor or independent commission’ to investigate Russia

“We’ve got to have either a special prosecutor or an independent commission, and that’s still the right answer,” Fiorina said. “And every day that goes by, it becomes clearer it’s the right answer because the Democrats will not let this go, and the American people need to be reassured about what actually happened here.”

In the end, said Fiorina, an independent commission or special prosecutor will be “the only way you’re going to get to the bottom of this in a way that everyone trusts.”

Investigate, Oppose, Impeach!

Actually it would help if the voters quit electing the same fucking scum bags in office year after year because (D) in front of their name.

Start holding your leadership accountable instead of sucking it off because party 1st and above all else....partisanship isn't the cure it's the problem.

This is true. The leftist could not win an honest election without illegal votes and corrupt machine politics. They fear an honest press and freedom of speech and and an honest police force and strong patriotic military and a good education. For the same reason that the dictators of the world fear these things.

The left are not progressives. Under President T. Roosevelt the term means advocating popular control of government (not the leftist view of a single party leadership with a one leader). It believes in reforms in government (not mass government control) direct primaries (where a more fair election process of all candidates running for officer are allowed to be heard and voted on by the people). One who favors progress (not a do nothing Congress and President).

Leftist and fascists are really royalist. They believe that a small group of "chosen or divine right" leaders not responsible to the law or the people should rule. That the masses work for the government not the other way. There was no difference between the Czar or Russia and the Commissar. Both were dictators and both had their chosen royalist who lived high on the hog while the people starved. (See Cuba and the fact that the party few are rich while everyone else makes $29 a month and lives in the Castro slum lord housing.)

A true progressive would want honest elections. Term limits for ALL public office including judicial. All funds collected by a person running for office to be made public, and all polls not have their votes counted till the last poll has closed. The people of Hawaii and Guam have as much rights to vote as the people of the west coast have over the middle U. S. and they over the east. All should be allowed to have their voice heard before the election is called. And media should not be allowed to choice who wins before all the votes are counted. Voter I. D. is the most important responsibility of a citizen. Primaries as stated above should be national so all the candidates of every party has an equal chance before the people.

Roosevelt felt strongly for a strong military to protect and a strong police force to uphold the law. Our forefathers felt that Judges should not be politicians. Now judges make laws instead of rule on them. They rewrite and change laws instead of sending them back to the Legislature. All three branches were to be equal with separate powers. A check and balance. But we have allowed judges to make laws not uphold them. That is not progressive or constitutional.

It is hard to see when a vote is taken in Congress that all Democrats vote one way and all Republicans vote another. That means that neither party is thinking of the people who sent them there or what is best for the country, but what is best for the "Party" and their own pockets. And we even have leaders in Congress who admit that they vote for a bill without even knowing what is in it. (See little Princess Nancy of Ca.).

There are a few in office who are good at their job and represent the people and the Constitution, but even they should have a certain amount of time to keep their promises they make at election and either uphold those promises and not need to return to office or if not keep them get the heck out of Dodge and let someone else have a try. There are several million people in this country, loyal citizens anyone of whom should have a right to enter office. There is no excuse for the same people to be elected time after time.

The left (not the real Democrats) say they want this or that without thinking "our own people did worst and we didn't call them out on it". Life is a two way street. Clinton and Obama and their people lied before Congress so they should face the same trials and if necessary prison terms that any member of Bush or Trumps people if they lied or committed crimes against the people. If you think Obama and Clinton should be given a "get out of jail" card then you have no right to complain about someone else. We are all responsible to the laws of the land.

Beto O’Rourke plans to throw out the Democratic playbook to beat Senator Ted Cruz in Texas

On what could be his last normal Thursday morning as a rank-and-file member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Beto O’Rourke calmly ate a breakfast of oatmeal and coffee in the dining room he shares with two other congressmen in a townhouse just off Capitol Hill.

He was due to the chamber in an hour or so for votes. The following morning, he would officially launch his bid to unseat one of Texas’ savviest politicians in modern history, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.

“I’m not going to do this and lose,” O’Rourke told the Tribune between bites. “I’m only going to do this if we can win, and I’m going to run to win, and I know no [Democrat has] figured out how to do this.”

No Texas Democrat has won a U.S. Senate seat in nearly thirty years or any statewide office since 1994. It is hard to find a political operative in Washington or back in Texas who would bet money – or professional credibility – on O’Rourke winning this race.

But the El Paso Democrat is earnestly bullish that he will go to the Senate through a strategy of bringing retail politics to a state of 27 million people.

I was curious about the length of terms of the people in Congress so I looked it up. Holy cow, some of these people have been in office way, way too long. The comment about (D) being voted into office repeatedly made it seem as if Democrats had much longer terms than Republicans. So I looked at the first ten people. In the House of Reps, it was split 5 Democrats and 5 Republicans. In the Senate, it was three Democrats and 7 Republicans. In the House of Reps, there is a eight year difference between the longest term (D) and the second longest (R). In the Senate, again a (D) held their position the longest by two years over the number two position (R).

I think both parties need to get some new blood in office.

Republicans ‘don’t give a sh*t about people’ says DNC Chair Tom Perez in fiery healthcare speech

In a fiery speech to the New Jersey Working Families Association (NJWFA), newly-elected Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez blasted Republicans and said their essential healthcare message is “I don’t care.”

Mediaite.com reported that Perez said the marches and protests that have taken place since Jan. 21 are the real spirit of America, not the forces that won Pres. Donald Trump the electoral vote in November.

The protests show that Trump doesn’t “stand for our values,” said the former U.S. Labor Secretary. “You didn’t win this election,” he said to Trump.

He lit into Republicans who failed to repeal the Affordable Care Act saying that whether we call it Ryan Care or Trump Care, the real name of the policy should be “I don’t care.”

“Because they don’t give a sh*t about people!” he said to a cheering crowd. “This repeal was a massive tax break for the wealthy.”

The Dems did lose by what they did. They had no viable candidates and they ended up nominating the worst of the lousy group who were running. Biden and dozens of others probably would have had a better chance than either Hillary or Bernie. Hardly anybody voted for Trump, but millions voted against the person who won the nomination. That is strictly my opinion, but I believe most would agree with me. :(

I don't know how much effect Russia had. Probably none to speak of and most likely none at all.

More than half of Americans think Trump should resign: poll

By the end of March — after President Donald Trump saw the collapse in Congress of a Republican-sponsored health care bill meant to overhaul the Affordable Over Act, and after former national security advisor Michael Flynn asked for immunity in order to testify on alleged connections between the president’s campaign with Russia — over half of Americans, or 53 percent, believed the commander in chief should resign.

The same poll, released last Thursday by Public Policy Polling, found that his approval rating dropped to 40 percent. Fifty-three percent disapproved of how Trump was handling his job, and only 39 percent thought he should continue to serve as president.
