I saw Aquagal's post the other day and had to laugh because I have been to my fair share of Redneck Weddings. I also saw a conversation recently about how great state/county fairs are to people watch and I am a big fan of people watching. It made me think to start a thread about Rednecks. I found some old threads and then one on the GB but nothing current in the PG.

This thread will be dedicated to anything Redneck....All in good fun.

For the record....I was born and raised in Tennessee and have many relatives in Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Some of my kinfolk are very wholesome Southerners and others are about as dirty and Red as they come....I love them all!

Please post your funny pics and stories. Real pics from your personal collection are strongly encouraged. I will dig some up myself to post shortly.

Oh my god. Yeah I married into Redneck.

We went to the funeral of my husband's grandfather's brother in the hills of TN. My husbands uncle was taking up a collection at the funeral for money for a new house because his trailer had been taken away by a tornado the days before. In the meantime he had moved his family into the deadman's trailer because 'he's dead, he didn't need it."

The lady I know is kind of scary but fun as hell to hang out with at the bars....
