I was out of business for a while because I was having a bickering with my electrical supplier about who would refund me on my pc repair. It was a power surge that made it go CABOOM!

After a while I was able get things sorted out. Too bad for all the work and data I lost, though...

How are things around these parts?

And thank for that vote of confidence, Jedi, but I wouldn't dare try a QM on you...

Did you have the computer on a power strip/surge protector? If so, the makers of that power strip/surge protector will refund you for the repair/replacement of any and all devices that were damaged by a power surge while plugged into the power strip/surge protector. Provided of course that they have such a warranty. Not all power strips/surge protectors come with such a warranty, but I happen to have two of them for a combined insurance coverage of $70,000.

Things are a little quiet around here. Too quiet. I don't like it.

Anyways, like I said, it's good to see you're alive and kickin'. And it is also good to hear that you won't go pulling a QM on us. Now get posting.

Oh Q, just a heads up, I'm kinda busy with studying at the moment, so the first three days out of the week I'll be offline... and probably the fourth. In two weeks, I won't be able to come on at all. Anyway, that just means that I'm a little slower than usual, but I'm still here. Won't be leaving or anything.

My computer AND my entire building was struck by an electrical surge, but strangely only some people were affected, this making the company try to bail out by claiming that whatever had happened was due to a malfunction of the building electrical installation.

Luckily, it was noticed by one of my neighbours a team from the company doing work on a nearby substation and it was after that that the problem occurred. Add 2 and 2 and...

After some talking - and a lot of money spent on registered letters - we finally were able to strike a deal with the company and they accepted the blame of the accident.
Specially after we started digging that a little bit around town others houses and buildings had had problem with the supply that evening.

I guess I was lucky after all, because only my PC was damaged in my house. My washer has even improved on the way it worked! How about that for an adventure?

Starting tomorrow, I will be having the most hellish and busiest week so far. I've got loads of coursework to do and another 40 hours of prac to do by friday. So, I'll be on either infrequently or not at all.

If I'm on, I cannot stay to chat - and most likely I'm just checking up on stuff, or Angelus is lurking on my profile.

The week after, however, I should be able to do some things and catch up.

Perhaps you could do something now? You could do a sort of 'flash back' scene where Nayil does something bad in his past? Could give you something to work on until I get back.
