The Safety Net at Work

I'm not sure you'd have to change all the bar codes, unless I'm missing something.
Most, if not all, POS systems require the retailer to enter the items in to the system. At that time they could add a code indicating if it was a permitted item or not. It wouldn't be 100% accurate, but would be better than it is now I guess.

Idk I just know that's why they voted it down. Because it would be too pricey to implement, somehow.

This is nothing new or related to legalization.

Any drug dealer will tell you that the beginning of the month is when their customers have cash. The money spent on drugs for the last 40 years has in part, indirectly or now directly, come from the four trillion dollars we have spent on The Great Society.

Your drug dealing experts are severely behind the times.
Only 8 states remain on the 1st of the month disbursement (none on the 15th). The remainder have staggered releases of funds tied to the last digit of your social security number. It's been this way since EBT cards replaced stamps back in 2008.

And you're behind the times inasmuch as I already told them that.

They're right about the 1st being a good time for dealers tho. I made a post explaining my experience with the time frame and why it happened that way earlier in this same thread.

A lot of people get paid every two weeks, of course the 1st is going to be high in sales.

No pun intended.
