Good evening all. Hope ya'll are getting better. Will check back in on you when I get home in the morning. Is there anything I can bring you?

Navarre - how is the jaw? Don't talk too much and hope you are able to have a nice weekend despite the pain in the jaw.

Do you feel as lousy as I do today? It started last Sunday, when I woke up with aching glands on the right side of my throat. Now it appears to be working it's way into a full-blown case of sinus infection... yuck! So I sit here with my rapidly depleting box of tissues, eating the homemade chicken noodle soup, drinking lots of water with the advil, and swigging the expectorant. But, still, no fever. Should I wait for a fever to go to the doctor?

This crud is affecting my thoughts and my attitude... in other words, I feel like hell. I hope I haven't gotten on anyone's nerves in the past day or two. Lord, I am so ready to be done with this nasty cold.

If anyone else feels the need to rest up, by all means, join me. There are extra beds, blankets, a bottomless pot of Mom's chicken noodle soup, and all the tissues you could possibly utilize in one months time. Bring your family, your friends, your lover or your favorite pet to curl up with too if you like. Just don't pass the germs!

So bring on the hot tea, the get-well cards and the posies... the friends that you come to visit here will surely appreciate them.

Let's trade old fashioned remedies too, your Grandma's poultice just may do the trick for somebody here!

I understand completely Arden! I feel like something that my dog would leave in the yard. Started about 9:30 this morning, nasty tummy, headache, a low grade fever, All I want is to just curl up for about 10 hours and sleep!
That and my "friend" is gone for the next week!

Navarre - Sorry to hear about your jaw. Hope you get better today. That is such an awful kind of pain. However, I think that I would take the narcotics!! But then I guess I am a wimp! Take care you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I called the dentist today. They said that this much pain was "normal" lol

I'm taking the narcotics again.
