Texans may not have good taste but they damn well seem to have common sense. A seemingly scarce commodity in Washington D.C.

* The U.S. unemployment rate was 9.6 percent in September 2010, the same as the previous month.
* The Texas unemployment rate has been at or below the national rate for 45 consecutive months.

According to the U.S. Census there are about 160+ million between ages of 18 and 55yo.

There are about 70 million over 55yo.

So dispite there being 2 1/4 youngsters for every senior the seniors single handedly kicked the Dems collective asses? GO OLD FOLKS!

Maybe the Dems have been courting the wrong demographic. Smarter and more intelligent? Tell me about it.

Pennsylvania I could kind of see, because they elected Santorum--twice. And Kenutcky is hopeless, as we discussed earlier. But I really didn't think a nutjob could win statewide in Wisconsin. Too bad.

People need to get over it. Educated people are the minority. Whose fault is it when a Party can't impress sheep? The sheep? Nah...they are who they are. Now we will see how 2 years of nothing getting accomplished makes life better.
 
You can't stack the WH with academics and expect that they are the smart ones.
Book learned, yes, but management skills and ability? No, none, zada, zip, nyet....
Ability to actually get things done? No.......
 
The party of "you betcha!", "man-up!", and "values" doesn't appeal to people who think.
