(Closed for BigRPerguy)
It was down to 25 degrees outside and with the wind chill factor it had to be close to 0 if not colder. She didn’t know how long she had been laying in the snowy ditch, but when she woke, she was freezing. The only thing she had on was a white lacy slip and nothing else. Her body ached, apparently having been beaten up and her toes were starting to turn color from the wet cold snow.
She managed to crawl out of the ditch, and she hurt every inch she moved.
She knew in order to survive she needed somewhere to go, and since she couldn’t remember where home was, she managed to get up and practically hobble down the desolate road.
She could tell she was in farm country as there were many homes spread very far apart and much land between them. She only saw one porch light on and that was quite a distance, but she needed to get warm somewhere, anywhere. Her thick blonde curls already felt frozen to her head, even her hands were beginning to burn from possible frost bite. Her deep blue eyes showed signs of swelling from whatever happened. She could not remember that either.
In fact, she couldn’t for the life of her remember who she was or what had happened to her. All she really knew was to find some place to get warm before she passed out in the snow, never to wake again. It wouldn’t take her long either as she was extremely petite, although had just the right amount of curves in her body that clearly stood out as she approached the front door, knocking several times. She hoped and prayed someone would answer the door and after several knocks, finally a man answered and just starred at her for several minutes.
I’m sorry to bother you, but it seems something has happened to me and I found myself in that ditch over there looking like this. Would you mind if I come in and warm up a bit?” She asked the stranger.
