2. Well...okay... this feels DAMN good as well...

Hmm...I've never actually typed it up...but let me paraphrase...
On my way to pick her up (remember as she said it's a blind date)....
I stoped at the ATM to get money...which promply ate my card and would produce no money...(this does not bode well).
So I head to pick her up anyway and give her an apricot rose (this is a good thing I did)
So we get lost on the way to the restaraunt (this is a bad thing I did) even though she knows how to get there but I'm trying to be a "man" and pretend like I know where I'm going so I don't listen to her (this is another bad thing). The resteraunt won't take a personal check (remember I had no cash...so another mark in the bad column) so she has to get money out of her ATM (how many bad marks is this?) For which I write her a check plus a little extra (which doesn't cover the cost of her using an out of system ATM...bad mark) and we go to another restaraunt.

Okay, from that point on everything went well. But jeeze. I don't know what's wrong with her. She still dated/married me after all that. Heh. Worst blind...date...ever.... Well except for the part where I took her home at 4am...*big grin*

LOL....this was such a great story! I find alot of couples who do really well together often times start out with a good solid friendship and have shared many many laughs. Sounds like you two had quite a bit to laugh at with that first date!! Hehe!

Thanks for sharing...I love the pics of course, but I think I also love getting to know you guys just as much! Hope all is going well in your new nest.

(Btw...I second other comments...Ms. MS you have lovely hair! Great color and it looks so soft....totally having hair envy!)

We're both making some wonderful friends here and intend to continue playing/posting until someone prys the camera out of our cold head hands...or something.

Tonight we'll take her car in for service then I promise to give her time to come play on Lit.

As Mr Squirrel let y'all know, I'm back from the dead! Actually, after being caffeinated on Monday-Tuesday (stayed up til 1pm, woke at 6am) , then worked until 2am on Wednesday morning, waking again at 6am to get to work ...I crashed out at 7pm last night waking up at 6am this morning! Felt mighty recharged and ready to go!

But, since I need to get a kid to bed tonight still, I won't be online much longer but will respond to all hopefully tomorrow or Saturday!
