*evil librarian cuts rant short with a disapproving ssshhhh*

Back to the delete button, the cut and paste and the eleventh hour bloody rewrite.

One day I will learn.

I read most of them in high school or college. I saw movies based on them, as well as a play based on "Charlotte's Web". Really, "Charlotte's Web"?

i read some of them in highschool... and found most of the ones i read BORING! ESP Grapes of Wrath... godddddddddddddddd that book was awful. I felt like putting a stake through it to put it out of my misery.

But heck, Harry Potter was also challenged if I remember right because of the "witchcraft" in it. Come to think of it, wasn't The Wizard of Oz banned or challenged for the same reason? Yeah, we've come a long way in how many years.....NOT!

My son attended a Catholic elementary school. Some of the parents wanted Potter banned, because it "promoted" paganism. The principal, a nun, laughed and said it did no such thing.
