'Never seen a crowd like this': Pro-Trump GOP rep's town hall mobbed by angry constituents

A town hall held by Rep. Mike Flood (R-Neb.) in Lincoln, Nebraska on Monday evening quickly devolved into chaos as constituents voiced fierce opposition to new Medicaid cuts – particularly a work requirement for able-bodied adults.

According to video from ABC journalist Jay O'Brien, those exchanges escalated into chants, heckling and at least two walkouts during the event, held inside a community center auditorium.

New York Times reporter Annie Karni wrote on the social platform X: "I’ve never seen a crowd like this for a town hall for a House member. Line snaking around for blocks for Rep. Flood. Looks like a presidential campaign event."

Trump broke the nation as a whole. These angry town meetings are just the beginning of the fallout. They will be read by naive people as indications of a profound MAGA defeat in 2026 midterm elections, but will be read by MAGAts as the Justification for not allowing the free elections to take place.
 
The GOP Ministers of Disinformation have warned their Reps and Senators not to hold town halls. This latest example will help the GOP Ministers to more forcefully enforce their policy of eliminating town hall meetings.
