Donald Trump: Black protester at my rally was ‘disgusting’ and ‘maybe he should have been roughed up’

GOP presidential front runner Donald Trump dismissed concerns about a viral video showing a Black Lives Matter protester being beaten and kicked at his supporters at a rally on Saturday, saying that maybe the defenseless man “should have been roughed up.”

In the widely viewed video, the protester can be seen being dragged to the ground by security before several Trump supporters begin punching and kicking him. In the background, Trump can be heard yelling, “Get him the hell out of here.”

Speaking with the hosts on Fox News Sunday, Trump called the protester “obnoxious” while at the same time questioning whether he was “roughed up.”

“The man that you say was, I don’t know, you said roughed up — he was so obnoxious and screaming,” Trump told host Ed Henry. “I had 10,000 screaming people in the room yesterday. Ten thousand people and this guy started screaming by himself, and I don’t know. Roughed up? Maybe he should have been roughed up. Because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.”

“This was not handled the way Bernie Sanders handled his problem, I will tell you that.”

You know who else advocated 'roughing up' his detractors?

Donald Trump: I’ll bring back waterboarding to stop the Syrian refugee ‘Trojan Horse’

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said over the weekend that he would reauthorize the use of enhanced interrogation techniques in order to protect Americans from terrorism.

“When the Syrian refugees are going to start pouring into this country, we don’t’ know if they’re ISIS, we don’t know if they’re a Trojan Horse,” Trump told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. “I want to see a database and other checks and balances. We want to go with watch lists, we want to go with databases, and we have no choice.”

“It could be the great Trojan Horse of all time,” he continued. “When I look at the [immigration] line, I see all strong powerful men. And I see very few women, and I see very few children. There’s something strange going on. And if you look at what’s happening in Europe, a lot of bad things are happening in Europe.”

After pointing out that a majority of the Syrian refugees were, in fact, women and children, Stephanopoulos wondered if Trump would bring back waterboarding, which was banned by President Barack Obama.

I can hardly wait for Trump to bring out his Winter fashion line with the Brown shirts and walnut truncheon accessories.

Big money GOP supporters banding together to launch million dollar attack ads on outsider Donald Trump

Nearly a dozen big Republican donors backing different presidential candidates are coming together to help fund an advertising campaign attacking front-runner Donald Trump, who faced sharp criticism from rivals this week for his inflammatory comments about Muslims.

Matt David, spokesman for the group planning the attack, a Super PAC called New Day for America, which is supporting Ohio Governor John Kasich’s presidential bid, said 10 new donors had pledged money in the two days since Politico reported Thursday evening the group’s plans to attack Trump in New Hampshire.

David said the majority of those donors have warned that they are supporting candidates other than Kasich, including former Florida Governor Jeb Bush or Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who are both seen as establishment choices for the November 2016 election. A spokeswoman for Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Trump is leading in polls of Republican primary voters both nationwide and in key early primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire, and his numbers have risen despite negative news about his business record and backlash to his contentious statements.

Club for Growth Slams Trump for 'Pandering' to Voters

The Club for Growth continued its attacks on Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Friday, accusing him of touting "liberal big-government policies that Democrats embrace" simply to win votes.

Special:
The conservative grass-roots political group has long denounced Trump's candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. Its super PAC spent $1 million on television ads slamming the billionaire developer in Iowa last month.
"Donald Trump isn’t fighting for conservative economic principles," McIntosh said. "He's fighting for himself and telling people what he thinks they want to hear.

"He's still the worst kind of politician."

He's a Republican!

Sarah Palin will be interviewing Donald Trump at 10 p.m. Eastern on her brand new show, On Point, which started Monday and airs on the One America News network.

*eyeball, headshake, shudder*

Sarah Palin's questions will have been composed by someone else. I wonder if she will be able to remember them and pronounce the big words correctly.

Trump in '04: 'I probably identify more as Democrat'

CNN July 22, 2015

(CNN)Before Donald Trump was a front-running Republican presidential candidate, the real estate mogul believed that the nation's economy ran better when Democrats were in control and that Hillary Clinton would be a strong negotiator with foreign nations.

"In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat," Trump told CNN's Wolf Blitzer in a 2004 interview. "It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn't be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats. ...But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we've had some pretty bad disaster under the Republicans."

The Republican Club for Growth is a grotesque joke. The economy has usually grown more under Democrat presidents. :cattail:

Breitbart: #1 at the box office Mockingjay flopped because ‘big-mouthed’ Jennifer Lawrence was mean to Trump

Conservative blog Breitbart.com’s film critic John Nolte claimed on Sunday that the final film of the Hunger Games franchise is suffering at the box office because of actress Jennifer Lawrence’s recent remarks in the media about politics and religion.

And while Mockingjay, Pt. 2 may have had the weakest debut of the four films in the franchise with a $101 million box office take on its opening weekend, it was still the top-grossing film of the weekend. Also, the Hunger Games franchise has made box office history in that each of the four films has grossed more than $100 million on its opening weekend.

Nonetheless, Nolte sees the film’s numbers as a reason for liberal celebrities to keep their mouths shut and stay out of politics.

“Arrogant, big-mouthed, divisive Hollywood blowhards took a massive hit at the American box office this weekend,” Nolte crowed. “The highly-anticipated fourth and final chapter of “The Hunger Games” should have been bullet-proof. But after star Jennifer Lawrence used the film’s publicity tour to trash Christians and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, ‘Mockingjay – Part 2’ is under-performing in a way no box office analyst had predicted.”

The Oscar-winning actress also said that a Donald Trump presidency would be “the end of the world,” a statement that must have stung at Breitbart, considering that the site’s fawning, overwrought Trump boosterism has raised questions of a pay-for-play relationship the blog and the campaign.

Only $101 Million on opening weekend? What a loser!:)

Daily Beast exec editor calls for Trump boycott: If you do business with him, you support fascism

The editor-in-chief of the website the Daily Beast is standing by one editor’s call for Americans to shame and boycott companies that do business with Republican presidential candidate and former reality TV star Donald Trump.

On Sunday evening, the Daily Beast’s Noah Shachtman took to the social medium Twitter to express his increasing distaste for the Trump team’s campaign tactics:

What follows is a series of Tweets. Check it out, the last one is really funny.

You don't have to think about Obama at all to realize that Trump is a neonazi.

Trump would be a lot better than that thing called obama. For one, Trump is a proud American. Two, Trump is a self made man where obama is a career welfare consumer. ... the list goes down the line.

Trump would never allow Putin to school him, like Putin school obama on Syria

It's great for others on the forum that you can so easily be identified as a total nut job. :)

Trump’s lawyer threatens Republicans over Super PAC attack ads

epublican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s campaign warned the party on Tuesday about donors pooling funds for attack ads, saying the party must treat him fairly to keep him from launching an independent bid.

Trump lawyer Michael Cohen told CNN that if Republican donors backing different presidential candidates come together for an anti-Trump advertising campaign, it would be a “bad, bad decision.”

The Super PAC planning the attack is New Day for America, which is supporting Ohio Governor John Kasich’s presidential bid. Its spokesman, Matt David, said on Sunday that 10 new donors had pledged money since Thursday when Politico reported the group’s plans to attack Trump in New Hampshire.

Trump signed a pledge to run as a Republican in the 2016 presidential election, but Cohen indicated the agreement would be invalidated if Republicans target the billionaire real estate mogul.

“If they treat him fairly, he will honor the pledge because he’s an honorable guy. If they break that agreement with him, as they say ‘woe be on them,'” Cohen told CNN.

I wonder if that Cohen "the Barbarian?"

Oh the Republicans are in trouble now!

Fighter Conor McGregor smacks down Trump for criticizing Ronda Rousey: He ‘can shut his big, fat mouth’

Congressman Keith Ellison rips Donald Trump for inspiring attacks against minorities

In an appearance on All In with Chris Hayes, Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison (MN) slammed Republican frontrunner and former reality TV star Donald Trump for setting Americans against each other and irresponsibly ratcheting up hostilities toward Muslims and nonwhites.

“He’s whipping up hatred to scapegoat a minority religious group, which has some very dangerous historic precedents,” Ellison said. “I mean, it’s the kind of behavior, it’s classic demagoguery, and you know, he’s going to get somebody hurt.”

“You just said, he’s going to get somebody hurt — what do you mean by that?” asked Hayes.

“What I mean is that when leaders who have a national platform whip up hate and hysteria against a particular group — particularly a religious group, a minority religious group that is not popular — invariably, you know, the people who are mentally unstable or motivated by hate come out of the woodwork,” Ellison said. “You see desecrations of buildings that are associated with that group, you see assaults, you see murders, you see things, things happen.”

Yep precisely!

The Trump campaign marches further into Crazy Town

Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski defended his candidate’s bogus claim that he saw on TV “thousands and thousands” of Muslim Americans in New Jersey holding celebrations on 9/11 to applaud the attacks.

Lewandowski said that reports of the (nonexistent) celebration do in fact exist and that the Trump campaign provided that material to media outlets which, according to Lewandowski, have refused to air it as part of a massive anti-Trump conspiracy.

"Mr. Trump has provided them local media outlets that have covered this coverage that they don’t want to go and talk about. He’s provided many opportunities for them to go and see it but they have their own agenda, the media has their own agenda."
