“However, the third crew or group, is now pushing for a secret alliance with the rebels, with the second group.” Kitta said.

“What changed their minds?” Linash asked.

“This” Kitta pulled out a picture from a folder on the table. The photo was blurry and taken from a long distance away. But it showed construction of a large round object deep in space.

“It looks like a small moon” Linash commented.

“Our spies tell us the empire calls it the Death Star. Once completed, it will be capable of destroying entire planets. The third neutral group of Bothan understood that if the empire completes this weapon, all races will be under the empire’s control. Profit will have no meaning as the empire can take what it wants. So, it was decided that the Bothan spynet resource are to favor the rebels. But to protect Bothan in case the empire still wins, the alliance with the rebels must be in secret.” Kitta explained.

“So all we need to do is meet with this Sakhet person and the treaty is agree to?” Linash asked for verification.

“Well, yes. Rodari must review the terms of the agreement and assign his bio- metrics to the document. The Leader of Bothan spynet will do the same. After the signing, the document will be placed in a very secret and safe place. Only Rodari with the Bothan spynet leader together can access the document in case of a dispute.”

“What if Rodari, or the spynet leader is killed, who can access the document then?” Linash asked.

“There are provisions for that, but they are secret. This is to prevent someone from trying to access the document by killing the signers.” Kitta explained.

“Well, I have no more questions. Shall we go meet this Sakhet person?” Linash asked Rodari.

“No time like the present!” He answered.

“You’ll need two droids for this mission.” Kitta told Rodari. “Rex and Milky-way have volunteered. I usually don’t like my droid, Milky-way, to go on these kinds of missions. But Milky-way and Rex can be very persuasive.” Kitta said as she rolled her eyes.

Sakhet had given both Linash and Rodari bowls filled with very tasty noodles topped with roast duck, all covered in thick honey sauce. The dish was called Junt-tau. As Rodari reached the bottom of his bowl, he noticed a message written in the tasty black honey sauce. The message stated “go south to building 2345H, I will give you the access code when you pay”.

As Linash finished her bowl she found two small computer discs no large than a dime. One disc was marked Rex and other MW. One for each droid she realized. She spooned the discs into her mouth. Slipping them between her teeth and gums before she swallowed. She smiled at Rodari

“Ready to go?” He asked. She simply nodded “yes” not wanting to spit out the discs.

Linash had changed into a more normal outfit after the shopping trip. She wore some skin tight black pants and overfold tunic with short sleeves along with standard black plastic-leather belt, gloves and boots. Linash big breasts were placing a lot of pressure on the folded tunic, but the tunic was holding. As they stood up to pay, Linash transferred the discs from her mouth to between her cleavage as she pulled her tunic straight.

“Thank you, the Junt-tau was very good” Linash said to Sakhet as they paid.

“A peasant must stand a long time on a hillside with his mouth open before a roast Junt-tau flies in.” Sakhet said with a knowing smile.

“Thank you for that information, how long does a peasant normally wait?” Rodari asked with a wink.

“3452 years” Sakhet answered.

The two headed for building 2345H, Rodari now knew the access code to the building was 3452.

Aem Stoutsteed

Huge black-coated Bothan Aem Stoutsteed pushed his way through the crowd open air market looking wildly for Rodari or Linash. He was a Bothan that was more horse-like, with a long nose and horse like ears. He was also as powerful as a workhorse with big muscles and a powerful frame. His horse tail flipping behind him in concern.

He saw Rodari, Linash and the two droids just as they were leaving the noodle house. That was also when he saw all the snipers on the roof tops. “WATCH OUT” he yelled as he pulled out his laser blaster and started firing at the snipers. The market place became a fire storm of laser fire as everyone seemed to be firing at someone!

Rodari heard the gun fire start to burst all around him and he ducks down almost dragging Linash with him. He didn't care what time he was to meet the other person to sign the agreement it wasn't even safe to walk the streets now. More storm troopers started flooding the area to break up all the gunfire and get everything under control. Rodari snuck around them when he could not knowing if the storm troopers would fire upon them if they were discovered .

He ducked into an alley wanting to rest there for a bit letting the heat die down a bit before he made a move to the meeting place. He didn't know if the meeting place was fortified like the other one before the noodle hut. He didn't want to draw attention to the building or the other person in it. The agreement probably wouldn't work if they got caught together and more than likely the others would deny that they agree with the person who was to be caught. He didn't know if the heat from the market would ever calm down but the camotion there had to stop and the mass of people had to trickle down before he felt safe.

Linash

“Holy Wookie Druk!! What happened back there?” Linash gasped to Rodari. They had just barely made it to an alley. But no seemed to be following them. So they were safe for now. They could however still hear the sound of laser fire from the market area.

“Ambush” Rodari said grimly.

Rex and Milky-way both made whirling and beep sounds.

“Yes, we were lucky!” Linash said agreeing with the two droids. “But how did they know we were there? Who tipped them off?”

“Hard to tell. We might have been followed by a recon droid.” Rodari suggested. Milky-way sensor array lights flashed and then she let out a series of serious beeps.

“Milky-way says that is not possible. Her sensors are working correctly and no recon droids followed us.” Linash explained.

Rex gave Milky-way a supportive beep.

Geth Sakan ducked into the south end of the alley where Linash and Rodari were. “Druk…that was close. there r stormtroopers all over th' place! R you two alright?” He asked as he started to walk towards Rodari and Linash.

Another figure on the north end of the alley appeared. He was a Bothan wearing a big black-coat. His face was horse-like, with a long nose and horse like ears. He had a laser blaster and it was pointed at Geth.

“Geth, stop right there! Traitor!” The Bothan ordered.

“Aem Stoutsteed” Geth acknowledged. “Rodari, Linash, Th' man holdin' th' laser blaster is Aem Stoutsteed. he has bin workin' wi' Empire fur years. he is th' traitor. Not me” Geth explained.

Rex beeped and whirled a few times, letting Rodari and Linash know that Aem was a known Bothan on the empires advisory council.

“Geth, you little snake. I was undercover on Coruscant. I broke cover to warn the Jedi about you!” Aem explained.

Linash looked to Rodari “What should we do?” She asked not sure who to believe.

Rodari got out his saber before saying "prepare for a battle because if one of them starts firing will bring more strom troopers down this way and more than likely they will try to kill us just to make a name for themselves." He activates his light sabers keeping an eye on both ends of the alleyway so he could block any blaster fire he could so that they wouldn't get hit. He didn't really trust both of the Bothan at this point. He didn't really know any of them the only people and things he could trust was with him in the middle of it all.

He could feel the tension in the air as the time went on. He could still hear all the firing that was going on in the square and he couldn't help but to wonder how long was this battle was going to last. He didn't know how long the weapons that were involved would last because they either had to run out of energy or melt down. He wondered which of the two people standing at the ends pf the alley would betray him first.

Linash’s green eyes shone with focus and pleasure. As she pulled a light saber from under her tunic. “I have your back, Rodari” She said with determination and courage. She got into a fighting crouch and activated her lightsaber. The brilliant light beam sprang out, but the color of the beam shifted through spectrum. Orange, silver, cyan, viridian, gold, bronze, and even black passed through the blade.

Aem Stoutsteed and Geth Sakan were surprised by the multicolored lightsaber. However, Rodari was even more surprised. He had never seen or even heard of one before in all his years as a Jedi.

“Where did you get that lightsaber?” Rodari asked.

“I made it myself” Linash stated. Rodari knew Linash had been trained like a jedi, but to make her own lightsabre meant her training was very advanced. Before he could ask any more questions Aem Stoutsteed started to move closer to them.

“Well” Aem Stoutsteed said “Since I can’t shoot Geth through those lightsabres. I guess I’ll just have to get past the sabres to shoot him.” He said as he continued to walk right at Linash.

Geth growled “Ah can do 'at trick tay.” As he walked toward Rodari.

Linash thought about the two Bothan, Geth and Aem. Geth had been hiding something during Rodari’s Jedi interrogation. He had disguised himself as a woman, bragging to them about how “good” Geth was. But the biggest thing was as Geth walked closer, she sensed his hostility toward Aem, herself and Rodari.

Linash thought back to the ambush in the market square. Aem had yelled to warn them of the ambush and it saved their lives. Why would he do that if he was working for the empire? She sensed his emotions as he walked closer as well; he had only hostile toward Geth.

“Time tae rid th' warld ay another empire spy.!” Geth said. He knew blocking laser the shots at this close range was very difficult. He also knew the laser fire would attract storm troopers and finally, he might get lucky and kill Rodari, Linash, or Aem Stoutsteed. As Geth opened fire at Aem Stoutsteed, Rodari used his lightsaber to deflect the shots.

“Geth, stop… you’ll hit one of us!” Rodari said.

Linash suddenly turned and faced Geth and joined Rodari in blocking shots.

“Rodari… I have been taught to maintain the balance in the force and not kill unless it is strictly necessary. However today, I’m not going to follow my teachings. Good bye, Geth!” Linash said and she called down a column of fire on the Bothan’s head!

“AHHH” Geth screamed stepping away from the force generated fire. But as he did so, Aem fired his laser blaster and hit Geth right in the head. The result was a perfectly round hole in the traitor’s head the size on a person’s fist. Geth was dead. He fell to the ground in the alleyway.

Rodari grabbed Linash taking out of the alley before anyone came over to investigate what had happened in the area. He knew that if they were caught in the area or at all that they would be taken then eventually killed. He seen that some people were starting to fill in the space behind them a little bit after they exited the alley. The crowd had surprisingly gathered quickly due to the fact that not moments before the market erupted in blaster fire. Rodari could hear murmers start to ripple throught the still gathering crowd as they pushed against it.


He was looking for a open building so that they could duck into it and rest for a bit. He knew that it was drawing close to the time for the meeting with the other signer and by the looks of everything the heat wasn't going to die down anytime soon. He takes a deep breath before deciding to go ahead and head to the meeting place. Chances are that no one would notice them slip into the warehouse. He headed to the location looking around seeing that almost all the people were just looking around. He entered the code to the door and entered the building.

He was a bit startled when he heard a voice behind him ask what happened outside. He calmed down before saying sarcasticly "I think he tore a tag off of a mattress." Rodari didn't know who was asking that question and he couldn't see the person either so giving the actual facts wasn't something that he wasn't going to do incase it was an imperial investigator trying to find who started everything.
