Agreed, very soft though...especially as the slow-mo didn't favour him.
I can see Croatia getting one in this half to even things up...they certainly deserve to be in front!

Yes, 2026! I think 2022 is Qatar and will be played in November due to the summer weather in the desert. Shorter schedule as well, I think.

But FIFA have floated the idea of expanding the number of teams for Qatar, which is lunacy. Its going to throw the domestic season into turmoil already.

Ohh, are they expanding the number in Qatar? I thought they were going to wait until 2026 to expand it to 40 teams. I think Qatar games will only last 3 weeks and not 4 because of professional teams' schedules.

I think the only way it happens is if there is a mass protest by clubs or if its found that Qatar just isn't suitable. I can't see it happening, I think the legal issues would see FIFA tied up in court for years.
