I just got back from seeing Van Helsing... I loved it. It was a great movie and graphics were awesome... I can't wait to see WHITE CHICKS. That looks funny as hell and Soul Plane.
Oh god! Those movies look so bad! *cringes in the corner*

I am not too big a fan of minority movies... But the Wayans Brothers have always been funny. But I love to watch movies> I think I have an addiction to them. So I will watch anything from a good war movie to a chick flick and sometimes if they are good enough I even Cry....Its one of my flaws.

I love movies, too, but since I'm on a college student's budget (pr lack thereof), I have to be very picky about the movies I see. I wouldn't have seen Van Helsing if it weren't for the end of the school year and my friend wanting to see it.

I know how it is to have budget being low... I only go to the movies to see certain features that my own TV misses out on... For example HP... I have to see it at the movie plex. Otherwise I wait for it to come out on video. I am almost a gold member @ blockbuster... The only reason I went to to Van Helsing was because today was my baby sis' 17th b-day and my whole family went and paid as well.

I got one word for you: NetFlix! I got it as a gift from my dad for christmas...oh my god have I seen soooo many movies because of it. If you rent seven movies in a month it outstrips Blockbuster by about 20 dollars.

I am 24 I post alot more on here now just thought I would add my name to younger crowd post thing

Hey Yall

I saw this thread and I decided to post on it. I've been on lit ever since I got out of college but only recently started hitting the boards with any regularity.

I figured I'd better stop by and say hello before I was too old to post in this thread anymore. I'm twenty-seven...although, I'm a very young and ubrant twenty-seven.

Anyway, here's Wyld sounding off.

Yeah...van helsing was a pleasant diversion but Troy kicked ass. I'll prolly go see White Chicks too when it comes out because, "say what you will about 'em, the Wayans make some funny movies".

- Wyld -

P.S.

Oh my lord...that scene where they're listening to Michelle Branch on the radio...worth the price of admission.

Welcome to Lit and welcome to the thread. It's been a bit slow these last few days. Partygirl and Vay usually keep it cranking, but they're away for a while.

Troy was really, really good. I'm so embarrassed though, because I was really tired near the beginning and kept dozing off. Being in a dark room does that to me.

Okay, yes, I admit, I thought that scene was pretty funny.

Just turned 25. I am in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Looking for anything my age really...don't matter what at this point!

Yeah, Vay (whom I more commonly know as Meridian) hasn't been here for a while, but I usually consider a while to be more like a week or two and not a day or two. They are more just away for the time being for me.

It's all internet time for me in my cube...

I'm back for the moment. Visiting my sis and she has the net, so I gotta check in, see how the thread's doin'. What's the good word?

Oh, and yes. Soul Plane and White Chicks are a must see just cuz they look so bad, they're gonna be hilarious!

Yes, that's my "general" handle, but for some reason, using "Vay" seemed to be the calling for this board.

And yeah, a while is usually longer than a day or two, but if you take into account how often I've posted in this thread, then a day or two truly is a long while! :D

Alright, fading back into the darkness again. I should be home in a few days and then back to my somewhat 'regular' schedule. Hang in there, troupe. Don't miss me too much. Or if you do, tell me stories about it!;)

Meridian? Taken from Elizabeth Haydon's books or from something else?

Hi everyone! It's good to be back... it's good the temps have dropped (sorry, I'm not a huge fan going from 70's to 90's)... it's good to have less than 12 people in my house! Hehe. Graduation ceremony was beautiful (but hot) this weekend. Just have to finish classes now....

I might as well introduce myself. I'm literotica's token goth guy, a 19/M from Colorado.. nummy moutain state

Meridian is something from Final Fantasy or something. This is a game music message board we are talking about. I am Xelebes and always will be Xelebes.

Ahhh. It's just not a name you hear often. If you're into fantasy books at all, she has an amazing series: Symphony of the Ages. One of the characters is called Meridian; he's basically father time. I'm currently waiting for the 5th book to come out, but I've gotta wait til August. Damn.
