There is nothing like.......

There is nothing like........

..buying the complete new outfit from the small lace panty to the ribbon in you hair driven by the fantasy of how he'll react and then having him actually notice and appreciate and completely devour you.

First, a response to Lia's post. I am sure you will get the reaction you are looking for and more!

There is nothing like..... Being gone for a bit and returning to find a collection of dear friends online having a good time at your expense. You know I love you ladies!!!

the sweet sound of my Son's voice this morning wishing me a Happy Mother's Day, and opening up 3 different cards that he sent to me because he couldn't make up his mind which one he liked better :) They meant so much to me because this is the first Mother's Day since my divorce and my Son is not my bio child but I had gotten custody of him when we seperated (seperated when he was 16 and he is now away at college) and it hit me that maybe he would forget, that he didn't consider me his mom anymore....silly me, how could I have ever thought that :)

seeing a much loved band play live for the first time

I still remember the first time I saw Springsteen in 1988 like it was yesterday. A friend even managed to get a bootleg of the show for me. :)

There is nothing like spending a couple of quiet, unhurried hours at your favorite bookstore.

There is nothing like spending a gift card at above-mentioned bookstore. :D

Sooooooooooooooooo true! I love wandering through the aisles, taking my time looking for stuff, picking a few things and finding a quiet place to sit and flip through books.

There's nothing like...

getting lost in a great book

sleeping in

getting caught up

having a bald eagle four feet from you

having a peacock share a bench with you while you feed him

So true Denae. I used to enjoy a trip to the book store. But do not any longer for some very personal reasons.

But I have felt the itch returning and have no doubt, a trip is in my future plans.

For me there is nothing like...

Sleeping until I just wake up. That does not happen often enough. But it did today!

Wow. Bald Eagles are so majestic aren't they. Not just in flight, but even while perched. Good for you my dear.
