Well I really wouldn't worry about insults from somene with such low comprehension skills and a totally inadequate ability to construct a vitriolic attack.

Vehemently Juvenile/Cockamamie Crone
 Mixing your insults like this shows they are struggling desperaterly for something clever, and failing miserably.

Shortsighted Grommet
Noun:Grommet
Fastener consisting of a metal ring for lining a small hole to permit the attachment of cords or lines.
Oooh that's gotta hurt, I'd be devastated if I was called a small metal ring, particularly a shortsighted one.

Perhaps the writer was having trouble with their own grommet: ( the medical type) A grommet can also be a small teflon tube inserted into the eardrum to allow air to pass through it, and presumably out the other side.
:D

Almost missed that one. Very good! :D

Something that makes me go  are people who rush onto an elevator or a train before anybody has a chance to get off.

Can't remember if it has been said

People who talk on their mobile phones in the Theatre or at a school play.
My wife nearly strangled some woman who did it at our sons school
me???? I was trying hard not to piss myself laughing at the way she tore into this woman

Born again Christians

Me too. My mom has gone past shoving her political viewpoints down my throat, despite me begging her to keep them out of our discussions, and is now more or less born again. Her newfound religious beliefs also bring up changes in her political viewpoints. For instance, she used to be pro-choice and is now complete anti-abortion.

M's ex always using their kids as an excuse to get things (done) from us. Everything we have to do (or can't do), in her opinion, is always better for the kids. They are 6 and 8 and start to notice things and we know it will, in the end, blow up in her face, because she deprives them of things that SHE does not like. I will not go into detail here, but sometimes it drives us crazy! Grrrrr!

My students and their constant lying and antics to get out of work. You're stuck here all day, might as well do something lol.

PS, I teach High School.

I'm with you Melesse!

If they spent even half of the time and energy on working as they do whining and complaining...their grades would vastly improve!

In relation to work, I could say the same thing about a former co-worker of mine.

Cinema shushing leads to assault charge

February 11, 2006 - 2:30AM

An enjoyable trip to a Texas cinema to watch Health Ledger in Brokeback Mountain ended badly for an Australian woman who had the nerve to shush a fellow movie-goer who was talking on her mobile phone.

Former Sunshine Coast councillor Pauline Clayton ended up being escorted from the cinema by police, arrested and charged with assault, according to newspaper reports.

Ms Clayton now faces a fine of up to $675.

She said she was enjoying the film, which was about halfway through, when a woman's mobile phone rang - and she answered it and began talking.

Ms Clayton put her finger to her mouth, signalling to the woman to quieten down then touched her on the shoulder twice.

The other woman then stood up and started shouting expletives at Ms Clayton before storming out of the movie.

Police arrived and escorted Ms Clayton out of the theatre.

The other woman told police Ms Clayton had been "invading her private space" and accused her of assault.

Ms Clayton was charged and must appear in a Texas court next week, but her accuser is not off the hook - she must also appear in court over her behaviour.

This is for all you skanks out there:

I think it's pretty damn sad that stores and restaurants have to put signs in the restrooms telling us ladies what to do with our discarded feminine hygiene products. I've seen the messes that some women leave in there, and it isn't pretty.

If it's not okay to flush a maxi pad down the toilet at home, then it's probably not okay to do it in public restrooms.

That's just nasty.

Local TV news tonight ran a story chastizing a Calgary-based weekly magazing for publishing 8 of the Danish cartoons. The very next story they showed some recently released (but not new*) photos from Abu Gharib prison. Whether I think they should have shown the cartoons or not shown the photos doesn't matter, the hypocrisy of doing the stories back to back was staggering.

*Taken at the same time as the ones that broke the story, what, 2 years ago now?

*edit*
Yay for post 69

People stopping right in the middle of the grocery aisle because they're chatting. Worse, people who stop in the middle of the road to chat. Hello! There are other people behind you.

Going to the doctor.

I'm actually 15 minutes early for my 1:00 doctors appointment. There are only 2 others waiting when I take a seat in the waiting room. I'm the first one called back so I'm thinking this won't be an all day experience. I pee in the cup, stick in inside that little door, wash my hands and go to the second waiting room. I'm the first one in this waiting room and in no time all 8 chairs are occupied. My name is called first and by now I'm almost giddy, thinking this is a piece of cake and I'll be out of here in no time. What was I thinking. The nice nurse leads me into that tiny room, takes my vitals and tells me the doctor will be with me in a minute. 20 minutes later he strolls in. Spends all of 5 minutes with me, decides he wants to do an exam and lays out those lovely paper coverings and tells me he and the nurse will be back in a few minutes. 45 minutes later, here they come. They spend maybe 10 minutes with me this time and then I am free to dress and leave. I dress and go out to the counter where you pay and schedule appointments, and wouldn't ya know...there's a line! Close to 3:30 and I'm finally out the door. 2 and a half hours for 15 to 20 minutes of the doctors time?? I won't even go into what I was charged for those minutes.

Maybe I should have posted this in the 'what pisses you off' thread.

Most of the things that came to my mind, had already been mentioned here, so I wasn't planning on posting in this thread,
until I went and read a few of the threads on the GB...

I've heard of foodfights starting because the cafeteria food sucked, but this is a bit of an overreaction.

Just my opinion, of course. ;)
