Watching an absolute shameless rant on youtube about a guy who's hating on the fact that Capaldi is using the same sonic screwdriver as Matt Smith.

Pretty much because he's already got the character of the 12th doctor already figured out after what-thirty seconds at the end of the Time of the Doctor.

It's things like that that gives us nerds a bad name.

On the fact that Capaldi is using the same sonic as Matt Smith-WTFC: Who The Fuck Cares.

The reason is of course that this guy seemed to miss is making a new sonic costs money, why waste it if you got a perfectly good prop already that doesn't cost a (What's the british equivalent of a dime) to make.
