Yeah. I finished my case this morning and it was still a bit chilly. I've got a cup of hot chocolate to go along with my studying
That sounds nice! Maybe I'll have some. The sun is nice! And I feel all committed to having my windows open, even if I am chilly. Closing them would be like giving in, and I won't do it.

Dang it, I was all set to hate on this, and then they had to go and make it look good.

Now I have to consider breaking my boycott for the Fox network.

It is a good trailer! I was skeptical about it and Batman isn't my favorite anyway, but I like Gordon as a character. And I'll be happy about Jada Pinkett anything.

That said the trailer completely turned around my level of interest in the show. So good job to the people in charge of piecing that together.

Right? That's what I thought, too! Very excited to see how it's put together. That's always my interest, too. My dream job would be world-building and then just watching people go with it.

I like world building as well. I think its not something we get to do a whole lot of here. Too bad too, cuz we have some extraordinarily creative and skilled writers out here.

That's my point. Its more miss than hit trying to worldbuild in tandem with someone...except that one in a million partner that comes along.

In our case, Vail did it herself and there was no partnership or working on it - it was all her work and imagination. I had followed her writing for some time and then I just saw it, liked it, and decided to politely butt in.

I truly miss having that sort of dynamic with a writing partner. I agree that it is worth it when you find it.

Hello Duchess.
Well Vail is my favourite writer here, so it works for me to develop a character within the context of her world. Rather than partners, I write more in parallel with her or her constructed setting. Although it's not for lack of my trying that we didn't write together

I agree! Although I do think there have been opportunities around here for that, but I think the application could be broader. Maybe we'll see more in that vein.
