Thinking: Today is liberation and veteran's day in Norway. I'm still not used to people wishing me a happy veteran's day. (It's a fairly new tradition here.)

Feeling: Proud on behalf of one of my CO's. He's being rewarded for a mission he led twenty years ago. As a 2nd lieutenant at the age of 21, he led a force of 35 medical personnel in the evacuation of 300 sick and wounded civilians from a town surrounded and bombarded by the serbs. The medal will be pinned on his chest by our king.

Doing: Logging off to get ready for work and the award ceremony afterwards.
