That's all part of the lure of the Pokemon....

First he saves your life and then those cute little critters lure you to the dark side.
Ooh, kinky. :D

This is Lit. What did you expect? We're all about the kink.
I just wasn't expecting it coming from Spawn. He's supposed to be a newbie, ya know?

Oh well, what do I know. He's cloudy's son. :D

*meep* I can't wait! Be sure to PM me when these post, I've got my siglines off, so sometimes I miss important stuff!
Will do. :D The Pokemon story might take a while, but my TF story is due in a couple weeks. Time to buckle down and start writing like crazy. Foretunately I'm just about half way done with the biggest scene in the story, so once that's done I'll have an easier time of things. Hope to finish that up by the end of the week, or tomorrow even. :p

I'm still not sure if your daughter is going to be a general or head of my surveillance and covert operations division. And I am going to need a bigger war room too.

She'd make a great spy, beautiful woman, and all that.

pfff. I think that the whole pokemon-satanism concept is silly, but I will grant that there's such a thing as too much merchandising, etc.

Kids do pick up some ideas from the games that they play, but hardly to the extent that this article seems to claim. I figure that as long as the games don't interfere in normal life too much, they're fine. That being said, I do think that pokemon does encourage an extreme level of consumerism. I don't think it's a good thing for little kids to be obsessively collecting every new card/toy/game/etc. that comes on the market. However, I'd say that has more to do with the way big companies and advertising agencies operate, than the contents of the game. Barbie is worse.

When do we attack? Better yet what are we gonna attack >.>

I'm still working on the mind control through animation (helpful hint, don't watch teletubbies, wiggles, the view or professional wrestling) and a legion of robot ninjas, but once I get those ironed out, we can begin with overthrowing the radio telescope in Hawaii and setting up the secret lair from there.

btw, ever launch a satellite?

Basically if people buy something enough than companies will make more and more of the product, with more variety. Doesn't matter what it is. Look at SpiderMan. Walk into any Toys R Us and the first thing you see is a gigantic section devoted purely to the movie. Of course, when the movie has stopped playing in theaters and Transformers is ready to come out, that section will then be filled with Transformer merchandise. Star Wars is perhaps best (or worst) example. Pokemon is chump change compared to the Star Wars juggernaut.

As for the article, I'm not even going to acknowledge its existance, so there.
