Been there. My nephew died in a car wreck just a month or so before he would have graduated.

She's in my thoughts. :rose:

Molly, I can't tell you how sad it makes me feel to hear about your loss. To have one so young taken from your family has to be devastating but I'll bet you also have memories of good times with him, fun things that happened along his short life. I hope you'll keep those in mind, even as you mourn his passing. No way do you deserve to have this stacked on top of the issues that have already been heaped on you and your family but we'll be praying that better things are just around the corner for you and your family. Remember the good ways that Joshua touched your family.

Love you, sweet lady,
Techsan

I just heard from SW. She's not doing well. There is a viewing for the other man involved in this tragedy, he was driving the other car. He was a friend of the family and Molly is going to the viewing tonight as a representative of her family.

Molly, love, you're in my prayers.

I feel safe in saying those thoughts apply to most of us :rose: :rose:

I wish to thank you all for your support and kind wishes.

I'm sitting at my sister's house right now, watching as my sister's pain just begins to surface. The rooms are filled with the fragrances of every kind of flower imaginable; cards and letters, envelopes of money and piles of food are everywhere. The entire community turned out yesterday for the funeral and half the state showed for the visitation the night before.

Josh was a very active kid, a future leader of our world. His life had made a difference to so many; his kindness and community involvement had enriched the lives of so many. From the local food pantry, his Eagle Scout projects, and his general desire to help others and work hard, all who knew him were gifted by his presence. His humor, his enthusiasm and his joy will be missed forever.

We buried him yesterday and his soccer team were his pall-bearers. His boyscout troop carried flags in a full honor guard. One flagbearer became so upset that he tossed the flag at another boy and left the building. Another bearer passed out.

Last night, the boys of the team played a man down for a home game. They had a ceremony for my sister's family, presenting them with gifts and money from both teams. The opposing team decided to play a man down as well. The game ended in a tie.

It's quiet here now. Sis is trying to keep her hands busy while her husband is out running. My little nephew is at school, where he has insisted on being since this nightmare began. He's a good kid with a hard row to hoe, but I know he'll survive.

Once again, I thank every last one of you. Your words have made the difference for me.

Molly
