To Kill the King.

The judge won’t allow a release of anything that would incriminate him, won’t see anything of substance till actual criminal charges are filed which would justify the judge’s signing of the warrant, till then more speculation till the Nov elections.
Pretty much the way I read it as well.

I beg to disagree with "Trump Chicken" and the tenor of several posts above. The Left desires very much to lock him up. He stole their act, their spotlight, their insanity and now they want to criminalize politics to get it back. Crazy is their purview. Republicans are supposed to be staid, dignified, in their place and good, even gracious, losers. Just as long as they lose. That's the thing they hate most about Trump. He's a winner and all they have to run is losers under the cover of the Deep State and the Media that controls the narratives in symbiotic partnership. If Trump had been an Ivy-League Democrat buffoon and womanizer in the mold of the Kennedy's, they would have loved every single idiosyncrasy and quirk.
Did Trump remove classified documents?
Yes.
Did Trump say he should be locked up for doing it? Yes.

you have the proof yet to be produced?

I had no idea that Nostradamus posted here from the grave

This is an assumption without evidence and ignores the current controversy on whether he did or didn't declassify the docs before/when he took them out of the White House.

If he didn't declassify them, then he did as you say.

If he did declassify them, then you're wrong.

I'm betting that the docs weren't classified when they left the White House. To say otherwise disregards the EO signed by OBAMA as well as witnesses to Trump's "standing order."

Do you think the FBI planted declassified documents?

We know for a fact that Trump did not declassify them.

Why would the FBI plant DEclassified docs? That's just dumb because a warrant is used to seize evidence of a crime. Possession of DEclassified docs isn't a crime. Planting DEclassified docs won't prove a crime.

It will, however, prove that Trump's 4th Amendment Rights were violated. Which we already know because they seized his passports and other personal property.

Interesting article on my newsfeed this am - that the FBI was specifically looking for documents relating to Crossfire Hurricane, which had already been declassified, in order to seize them.

Second article from yesterday - that the raid on Mar A Lago was supervised by the same FBI group which also ran Crossfire Hurricane...

You poor poor stupid idjit.

Seriously, no one that I'm aware of is claiming that the FBI planted evidence of a "non crime."

Except you...

I am aware that there's a possibility that the FBI was attempting to seize legally possessed documents in order to prevent illegal FBI actions and activities from being exposed by the contents of said documents. Whether that's true or not hasn't been conclusively established.

An interesting thought is that you must believe the FBI was actually planting evidence in order to bring up this issue.

Umm they seized 11 set of documents, not just one set....Trump did declassify some files in his time...and time will tell if there is an issue ( as I stated a long time ago,Trump may not even be charged, the Government just wanted the documents back). But you keep white knighting for him....it's kinda cute....you and ican't slobbering all over these threads...

It's been announced a 4th Amendment type motion will be filed by Trump in a couple of days.

Everyone he knows knows that, so it has to be true, he just knows it.

AJ and Ishtard are struggling mightily with this factoid.
Pfft .... since they adopted the hive mind's "selective acceptance" of factual evidence way back around 2003, they have no trouble whatsoever discarding/dismissing "inconvenient facts".

Facts have a well-document librul bias, dontcha know. ;)

Imagine how blissful these ignorant fucks are. If they didn't manufacture outrage, they would live fairly serene lives.

Trump sues to block DOJ from reviewing materials FBI seized at Mar-a-Lago until watchdog appointed

Former President Donald Trump in a new lawsuit Monday asking that a federal judge appoint a special watchdog to review documents seized from his Florida home as part of a criminal investigation of the removal of White House records when he left office in January 2021.

Trump’s lawsuit, which suggests the Aug. 8 FBI raid was politically motivated, also asks that the Department of Justice be blocked from “further review of seized materials” from his Mar-a-Lago residence until the so-called special master is appointed to review the documents.

Special masters are appointed in criminal cases when there is a concern that some material seized by authorities should not be viewed by investigators because it is protected by attorney-client privilege or other factors that weigh against it being used in a prosecution.

Special masters were appointed to review materials seized in federal criminal probes of two of Trump’s former personal attorneys, Michael Cohen and Rudy Giuliani.

Trump’s suit in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida accuses the federal government of violating his Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures with the raid, which is believed to be the first time the home of a former president was searched in connection with a criminal case.
