Today I called the maintenance company for the third time and miraculously got a person rather than an answering machine. Even more miraculously they stopped by and ordered the parts (though there's a Lowe's within 3 miles from my place).

Today I spent some time goong through the released photos of various celebrities and people I have no idea who they are. Such as, who is that stripper with the long dark hair wearing the skimpy pink outfit?

As a side note, some of those pics could go in the "Clean Your Room" thread.

Second note, most are very generic pics of various body parts or selfies, however, there are a small handful which are very nicely done and would fit in several of the picture threads.

Today I discovered there is an astonishingly attractive black woman who lives across the way who also has a smoking body AND has a great sense of style as she was wearing a nice pair of jean shorts and short boots.

How did I not know this? Why didn't someone tell me she existed? All this time I could have been that creepy guy leering out my window, watching her comings and goings and having sick, twisted fantasies about her.

Today I came home to the continuing saga of my leaky shower faucet. Instead of having everything completed, the maintenance crew had to empty one of closets so they could get to the plumbing portion behind the faucet to fix an unforseen issue which also involved cutting a rectangular hole in the wall to get access.

Apparently it's too difficult to get the parts needed and complete the job in one go, instead most likely dragging it out for another day or two, or week, as happened the last time I had an unrelated problem.

So much for the vaunted efficiency of the private sector.
