Today I... (Part Two)

Today just started 15 minutes ago.

Yesterday was fanfuckingtastic. I even managed to squeeze in fixing the laundry tap.
 
Today I saw two ospreys in the wild (for the first time) and saw a great blue heron catch its meal.
 
Today I was asked for three references as a follow-up to my interview on Friday. Woot!

Today I called the maintenance company at 9:02 AM to have my bathroom faucet issue taken care of and as usual, no one bothered to call me or fix the issue (documenting here in case evidence is needed at a later date).

Boo on the maintenance guys. I have a friend who's older brother (The Dick we call him) has a tile business. I asked him how his so freaking successful {millionaire}, him being a mediocre tile man. He said "I do two things really well 1) I call people back and 2) I show up when I say I'm going to show up." Too bad you're not getting either.

Today I was told by my references they had all received a phone call and that they told the person I was the best person they had ever worked with and would be sorry to see me go and if I wasn't given the job they would be missing out on having the most qualified person for the job work for them. Or at least I hope that's something close to what they said. I'd hate to think they said something different.

And emma, as I've said elsewhere, it would be nice to see this supposed responsiveness of private industry over government I keep hearing about.
 
Today I played hooky and sat around the house naked all day
 
Today I left a second message at 9:30 AM indicating my shower faucet issue still existed and left my work phone (again) for someone to call me. Still waiting.

Today I converted the usable pictures from the supercar show to take to work for someone that couldn't make the show.
