Today.... I'm home sick with a cold for the first time in 9 years, and none of my friends are online. So.... I'll work on my guitar lesson plans and nap a lot.

Today is the last day of my workweek; I've come home and had a couple of CC & 7's and I'm feeling a little buzzed; thinking of Cate and DGO and how much I enjoyed their company last year when I was a newbie. They welcomed me with open arms and I felt like I belonged again.

I too shall relax, and appreciate dear friends, and the thoughts of wonderful lovers I've known.

Fight it locally
Hi to all my friends here at Lit.
As some of you know I mentioned last week that I was going to participate in the local Walk to End Domestic Violence in the city where I live.
Some of you asked about donating to/supporting my walk. Thinking of how to make this a safe donation for you to give to me and for me to receive from you, I think I may have a better solution.
Domestic violence is a national issue.
I urge each of you who wanted to help "me" to help those where you live.
Make a donation to your local women's shelter or a support group. Contact your representatives and ask how you can support, what you can do to support them in changing existing legislation to make it stronger. Do what you can on a local level.
There are so many things you can do to help your neighbors!
Thank you everyone for wanting to support a cause of which I am so passionate about.

If I could only visit my Mom and Dad... Well, visit and hold my Mom again and get to know my Dad... Be thankful you still can share time with them.
My Dad has been gone close over 3 decades... my Mom just over a year... and if I could I would go back and do it again.
