Probably, digestive enzymes in the dust mite droppings is what causes the reaction on people. It's impossible to get rid of dust mites though.

It raised many questions in my mind as well, like isn't 4pm not exactly the coolest part of the day?
Perhaps they are distracted by cooking dinner or maybe worn out after a long day at work (I can relate to that) or maybe their kids have just come home from school?
