Purple is made of red and blue, which possess quite opposite characteristics and when mixed cancel each other's effect, so that purple is somewhat gentle and vague. It suggests mystery, dignity, reflection, mourning, philosophical musing, and twilight.

Originally, the pigment came from certain shellfish and was so rare that only royalty used the color. Hence the name royal purple.

Green is the color of grass, leaves, and vegetables and naturally suggests rest, cool shade, and refreshment-all pleasant things. Green is considered beneficial to the eyes, nerves, and disposition, because it is cheerful yet calming, and invigorating although restful.

The intelligence quotient is defined as 100 times the Mental Age (MA) divided by the Chronological Age (CA).

IQ = 100 MA/CA.

A large majority of white cats with blue eyes are deaf. White cats with only one blue eye are deaf only in the ear closest to the blue eye. White cats with orange eyes don't have this disability.

Cats can't taste sugar.

Cats are most attracted to the person paying the least attention to them. This explains why they always jump in the lap of the guest who likes them least :)

A certain musical note can sexually excite cats. The same note when played for kittens makes them want to go to the toilet!

I'm sure there's a good joke or two in there :D

Another bit of obscure Trivia:

1966 was the first year for the SS 396 Chevelle Regular production car. Production actually started in 1965 with 201 special order cars, known as Z16 cars, built. Z16 was the order code that was used to order this special edition car. Most of these cars went to GM execs and celebrities of the day. A few survive today, including Z16 number ONE!!! This car is widely considered to be the car that 99% of 1960's Chevy muscle cars are based on
