Trib question for the ladies

Elmo, yes those are closer to what WE call tribbing.

Although there are MANY forms of tribbing, most of us think of Missionary as starting with the bottom gurl assuming a position with legs widespread identical to a hetero missionary. Her lover then settles between her legs as if to insert her clit into the first girls vaginal folds.

At the ultimate, we get into "clit clacking" and this can be VERY intense but rare.

Far more common is where we settle with one lip sliding into the others vaginal crease. This lets both of us achieve maximum stimulation with almost unlimited movement and maximum lubrication.

OMG, Diane, hurry home! I NEED you.

Huh? "Clit clacking"??? "Inserting" your clit into her vagina???? Seriously??? MUAHAHAHAHA!

What? I haven't heard of ANYTHING you're referring to. Inserting her clit into the first girl's vaginal folds? Clit clacking? Lip sliding into vaginal crease? What on EARTH are you talking about?

(Not to mention that I've never heard the word tribbing at all before, ever...I gather that it's from "tribadism" but tribbing? Huh?)

*Snerk* I called it "trib'ing" in an earlier post cuz it was easier than typing "Having My Spouse Rub My Pussy With Her Thigh". In RL I don't think I've ever actually "called" it anything (any more than I have a special "name" for tit groping ;) )

Etoile, sorry that's my description. And my word, kinda like ....

"We don't fuck, we trib" and "We're not fucking, we're tribbing"

Why is it so many are so anal that they find the need to make fun of others?

The only people that I laugh at are those that try to put down someone else.

They are what I call disgusting!

Yeah, but...I never heard of anybody ever doing any of those activities you mentioned. Ever. Don't take offense, but they sound like some dreamed-up fantasy for guys.

Duh!

Just so you know, sweetie, when most lesbians are trib'ing it is VERY freak'in rare that it is scissoring / pussy to pussy. It might happen a little but only as a "hey lets try this position" kinda thing. The VAST majority of tribing is when the dominate partners thigh is pressed between the other parties legs. 'Course this isn't nearly as titillating for guys who watch fantasy lesbian videos. ;)

DUDE! You are watching commercially produced porno! There isn't any love within a 5 mile radius of one of those videos! Just say'in...

I am most turned on by two females having sex when one sexually dominates the other. So incredibly erotic.

What ever anyone wants to call it, let them. Why is there a rule for what it is called, why not just call it what it is fun, experimenting, fooling around, screwing, licking, humping, any way you call it it is still fun.

Mostly what this reminds of is dry humping back from the old days, before anyone wanted to go to far, and actually get naked. Now that we can and do get naked it gets even better. So goes the saying, "what is old is new again"

Love the new clips, We enjoyed them all.

Thanks

Thank you, I feel the same.
When I first started this thread I wasn't trying to start any trouble but with the first couple of replies I thought I was entering into a subject that I wasn't allowed in.

I couldn't agree with you more. Unfortunately a lot of people try to boost their fragile egos by trashing others.

No, you just wanted to justify your own fantasy shit, which was cool. It was when you started dissing people for *gasp* acting "too butch" (cuz that didn't fit in your little fantasy world) that you started to get shit.

Unfortunately, some feel the word "Moderator" shold be pronounced "GOD"!

Dude, (and I do mean that in the masculine sense cuz I'm almost positive you're a guy), if you have a problem with what I said, that's fine. I think you're a dumb-ass, so whatever. That goes for your "clit clackering" too

Now why do you feel the need to start shit with Etoile? You got lack of penis envy or something?

Ummmm, Hello pot?

I don't know what that means....I lost my code book.

I'm a member on this site like the rest of you. I have every right to participate in a thread and state my opinions.

If you must know, what I objected to was how certain you were that this was The Way Things Are Done. These are what I noticed:
"what WE call tribbing"
"most of us think of Missionary"
"we get into "clit clacking" and this can be VERY intense but rare"
"Far more common is where we"

I suppose you could have been referring to yourself and your partner, but it sounded to me like you were trying to convey that all lesbians do these activities. By saying that I have never heard of them before, I was attempting to refute your universal statements.

Yeah, I got that and appreciated it very much. Personally, I would have attempted similar by saying that my clit clanks to no one and I know that because she told me so.

Too much friction!

Etoile, can you just get rid of this whole thread? There is entirely too much friction goin' on here. I do apologize for anything that I may have started and I will just stay away from Safe bet cause' I can tell that she doesn't like me very much.

Thanks

Sorry, but no. Per the forum rules, admins and mods are "not anyone's Jiminy Cricket."

Also, threads are not owned by individuals, but by the community at large. Others are participating in this thread too, and I can't take it away because you're uncomfortable with the direction it has taken.

Don't forget the ignore feature is there for your use, if you wish to avoid seeing an individual's posts. You can use it on anyone except admins and mods.

Etoile, My apologies.

It's taken me nearly a week trying to figure out what all the huff was about.

You were thinking "We" was all inclusive. We referred to Diane and I.

Think about it for a moment, if anyone were to use "We" as all inclusive, would be an act of stupidity. It only takes a single incident to the contrary to disprove an "all inclusive" statement.

It's simply how I think. It's not Diane and I, it's WE!

Why does the poster have to be a man in order to enjoy vulva-to-vulva contact, in your opinion? I'm a lesbian and very much enjoy vulva-to-vulva contact. Contrary to what has been stated here, this type of contact among lesbians is actually quite common; it's the scissoring position that isn't. I trib, but I don't scissor. The missionary position allows for vulva-to-vulva contact too. And I'm amazed by lesbians who either think it's uncommon for lesbian women to do this or think that the only form is scissoring, and subsequently have no idea that they trib too.

I would say the problem is the description of the act. It's a form of TRIBADISM, as you stated, and tribadism does NOT ALWAYS REFLECT A SCISSORING MOTION. That's why so many lesbians say they don't scissor; it's because they don't partake in that aspect of it. Wikipedia has good information on this; and if you don't trust them, you can always go to Google Books and read up on Tribadism. In fact, Wikipedia uses sources from Google Books about it. Such as these:

Sexuality Now: Embracing Diversity

Gender studies, gay and lesbian studies (Duke University Press)

Women's Sexualities: New Perspectives on Sexual Orientation and Gender

Exploring the dimensions of human sexuality

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender aging: research and clinical perspectives

So needless to say to all, if you are a lesbian, you most likely trib; it's just usually in the missionary position, or grinding your vulva against your partner's thigh, buttocks, arm or stomach. Normal lesbians do that. What sexually active lesbian hasn't ground against a thigh or done some similar sex act? And I know, you mentioned this. But it's your generalization that most lesbians don't vulva-to-vulva trib which has me perplexed, especially given research (as seen in the above links) which shows that just isn't true.

Personally, I don't see how anyone could not get off from rubbing her clit against her partner's clit. When you're both wet, it is the most pleasing and intimate thing ever; you can just have sex without worrying about placement of fingers. And I would rather have something rubbing against my clit (the most common way for women to orgasm) than something rubbing in my vagina. Would rather have clit-to-clit contact than clit-to-thigh contact too. The thing is...society has gotten so caught up in "only penetration counts as real sex," so much so that some gays and lesbians feel they have to penetrate each other in order for it to count as "real sex" too. To my fellow lesbians out there, Google "Tribadism" and find out what it really means. Then try "scissoring" in the missionary position; my bet is...most of you already have done it. Either that, or you just stick to two sex acts (fingering and oral).

That's my take on this discussion, which I found through Google search. I just felt I had to register and give some true representation of women who love vulva-to-vulva tribbing. I will never understand some lesbians' aversion to it.

I have rarely, ever considered tribbing. I "got tribbed" so to speak, as a teenager, and I felt so removed from my girlfriend-- just couldn't figure out how to make it work when "Making love."

yanno?

But But as I've gotten older, I have learned a lot of techniques that sort of preclude full body contact, and I kind of know how to be close anyway... fisting, for instance... And from some video I saw recently-- not even sure if it's in this thread or another one-- I've realised that it could be a great way to fuck. And I can't wait to try it on a trussed up woman that can't wriggle away.

Gotta love the internet!

Wanted to ask this yesterday -- Was it genital-to-genital grinding or grinding against some other body part? The way you worded it -- "so to speak" -- makes me think it was the form without genital-to-genital rubbing.

Yep. Believe me. Definitely a great way to fuck.

Not sure if this is a universal saying or not, but what a mountain out of a molehill.

LOL, I had to Google that. Make a mountain out of a molehill. I, too, thought there was some over-reaction in this discussion. So many of my lesbian friends get so passionate about the term "scissoring" because they hate that term, even though most of them do trib (just different versions of it).

If you were also responding to my comment above -- all the links and stuff -- I am just tired of some lesbians generalizing what other lesbians or "women who have sex with women" do in the bedroom without backing it up with sources of any kind. I would never say, "No lesbian scissors," no matter how rare it is for lesbians to take partake in that form of tribadism. And some lesbians use "scissoring" to mean any form of genital-to-genital contact, as if lesbians rarely engage in this. I, as stated above, love to grind women, and not just their thighs or abdomens. If I'm in the missionary position with a woman, yes, my sex grinding against hers crosses my mind. This action is very pleasing and erotic to me -- sexual organ touching sexual organ -- and I'm free to use my hands for other things. I simply do not scissor, though. No way, no how... Not the typical kind anyway (because I do bend and spread legs in ways where I'm positioned between them).

Unfortunately Safe Bet died earlier this year, so she won't see this informative post.

I'm very sorry to hear that. By the sounds of it, you two were close...or at least somewhat.Thank you for finding my post informative. I understand that you found some aspects of tribadism surprising as well, which is understandable, given that, as Wikipedia says, there is little mainstream sex research about it and it's not spoken about much among lesbians and women who have sex with women. It's more so practiced than spoken.

Again, sorry to hear that about her. And thank you for listening.
