it's all just playing to the crowd. I saw him yesterday speaking out of both sides of his mouth over the same thing. "Garland has to explain this" in one breath, with "No one's above the law" in the other. Guess he's looking to avoid the noose-crowd chanting "Hang Mike Pence" while he still hopes to get their votes.

The GOP strategy for losing national elections is to keep doubling down on insanity and criminality, but somehow expect that they are going to repeat the fluke win they experienced in 2016.

Let them renominate Trump. Then, even if Biden has to drop out for some reason, they are still likely to lose again in 2024. Anyone who thinks that a petulant child like Trump should return to the Presidency deserves to lose.
