Left and right is so linear. And using that form of measurement, both extremes of left and right are totalitarian, which seems a little circular to me. How about totalitarian at the one extreme thru to complete anarchy on the other. Using that spectrum, Classic fascism, Iranian theocracy and left wing dictatorship of the people are all grouped together at one end. Classical liberal democracy is somewhere towards the other end and anarchy is an outlier.

I'm not a Trump supporter, and I'm sure butter wouldn't melt in Comey's mouth, but he was obviously partisan during the campaign. (There was more reason to say there was a Russian-Trump connection investigation, when there was, than that what was found in the computer of the laptop of the discredited husband of one of Hillary's staffers meant that Hillary was under investigation, which she wasn't) So, I'm fine with Comey taking some lumps--especially since I'm sure his testimony is going to be tailored to minimize the damage to him anyway.
