Trump will win in 2020

NOW, the 2020 race is going to be interesting.

Will the D's embrace him after having rejected him once already just last fall? Will they be called on it for being hypocrits? Can Steyer beat the distopian politics of the rest of the pack to win the nomination? What will he have to do to get there and yet not be seen as everything the progressives hate - rich, old, white, dude? How will he shape his economic policies to differentiate himself from Trump?

He doesn't stand a chance in South Carolina. Biden is way up in the polls here. Steyer will finish near the bottom in the primary.

Which should tell you something about the D platform and ideas and how they've totally bamboozled the D base/voters.

Well thanks for defining IGNORANT for us today.

Who said it's Internet OR guns?

People say Sensible gun control, and only UNEDUCATED IGNORANT DUMB FUCKS hear "They're comin' for my manhood."

No one's taking your gun. Is anyone coming to your house to take your gun? No, they're not.

YOU may not care about Broadband, but newsflash, there's such a thing as SK-OOL and LI-BRARY where KIDS can use it.

Translation of original post: Democrats want to come to rural 'merica and fuck shit up with education and modern reality. Trump tells me I can hate brown people and shoot shit up in my back yard. I'm voting for Trump.

Great... we get broadband but have to turn in our guns. This may come as a shock to you, but quite a few of those you describe as ignorant couldn't care less about the internet (me included). Those you describe as ignorant are the ones providing the safe and comfortable little bubble you live in.

Forget the platform. South Carolinians don't need no stinking platform. Most couldnt read it anyway.

Biden is the man here. Democrats here aren't very liberal as a whole though.

I suppose I must be one of your UNEDUCATED IGNORANT DUMB FUCKS.

But statistically speaking, there's an over 99% chance that I'm more highly educated than you. So where's that leave you on the UNEDUCATED IGNORANT DUMB FUCK list?

what has trump said/done to make you believe he a russian asset? (lets ignore he has sanctioned them almost more then any other potus)

Deflection isn't refutation Luk, you'd know that if you had made it past the 6th grade.

That may be your opinion but it is accurate.

We know he’s incapable of admitting it. In his mind he’s won every debate ever.

If he ever had a clue of what he was spewing about, he wouldn't need to edit every damn shitpist. He's a liar first and a backtracker second. Not exactly someone to waste a conversation with.

Historically, Liberals are "in the middle" not the fringes. Biden and the rest of the D field, except for Steyer from what I've seen so far, are fringe left. So yeah, the D's in South Carolina wouldn't be "very liberal as a whole" if they're for Biden.

bye dumb is way ahead in sc cause the blacks totally support him...his "strength" is greatly overstated everywhere

I haven't seen a single Steyer ad so...

He needs someone to write announcements and speeches for him. And soon.

I see them all the time. The funny thing is that the Democratic field is stereotyped as just "running against Trump," but most of them really do have a well thought out set of policy proposals at this point. But as far as I can tell, Steyer literally does not have a message aside from getting rid of Trump.

Leaving aside that the whole "what we need as president is a rich non-politician" thing has taken a massive hit these last 4 years, he's got to give people something that makes him distinct from the others who are running.

A wealthy liberal with a smaller ego would go the Koch Brothers route and put some of his millions into local races that the Dems always neglect.

As for Johnny's argument, I don't agree with it because it's not like rural America was the Democrats' base when the black guy from Chicago was running twice. I think there were a lot of little things that added up to explain how Obama's +4 victory in 2012 became Clinton's +2 loss in 2016, and I've talked about them before.

But before you guys get too far ahead of yourselves planning the second term, I'd point out a couple of things that seem to be getting overlooked: first, Donald "Mexico will pay for the wall" Trump has a record to defend now; and second, there was an election last November that appears to have receded into memory awfully quickly.

I'm in deep blue California so the D's aren't campaigning here yet. No need to spend the money on a foregone conclusion. Which is why I probably missed the Steyer announcement.

NONE of the D policies are "well thought out". One needs only to look at the universal D message of hate and divisiveness to see that. Add on top of that the green new deal, Medicare for all, free everything, tax increases, and more burdensome regulation of meaningless things, and you can see that the D platform is totally NOT "well thought out".

What he is up against

In a fair fight he would win in a landslide. He is likely to win anyway. But no president in USA history has faced an intrenched deep-state swap like this. Also, the fake main-steam "news" media is just a brainwashing tool of the socialist movement. Also, like they always do in countries they gradually destroy, the socialist deep-state have control of Hollywood and the "education" system. The fact that Trump has endured their efforts at a coop is amazing. But if he wins in 2020 they will seek to take him out Lincoln style. If he cleans out the justice department enough to get to the bottom of what has been going on many wealthy and powerful people would be exposed and go to prison. Their "insurance policy" did not get the job done so they will be forced to try a few more fake social attacks and the if that fails they will seek to snuff him out.

I'm not because I have, and not even close.

Your deflection in this case just isn't refutation of anything and neither are your assumptions based on the voting patterns of republicans.

Salty Luk is still salty....no lies and no backtracking, just lots of poking fun at the white guilt laden racists on the left like yourself. :D

Thanks for your informed opinion.

My questions for Johnny are do you know anyone that voted for Obama, then Trump that will vote for Trump again? How did your neighbors feel about Obama when he was president?

Could you clarify for us what exactly it is that rural voters hold dear?

I've tried to stick to the fluff as of late, trying to get my PPD under 10. But I've been thinking about the Great Divide in our country. Rural vs Urban.

Now... In my never so humble opinion, Trump is the President right now because the Dems pandered to the Urban voters and not only ignored the rural areas; but actively insulted them. Trump said what they wanted to hear. Most knew he was lying, but it didn't matter, sometimes you just want someone to pay attention to you.

The same is happening this round. I don't see how the eventual Dem nominee can walk back the positions each of them have taken in the Primary season - which is the paradox: they have to be ultra liberal to get the nomination. Those positions don't play well in rural areas - for good or bad, that's just the way it is.

Now I think Trump is a horrible human being and a Russian agent, but I do agree with him on trade and immigration. I'd never vote for him but I understand his appeal to his base. I haven't heard anything from any of the Dems that would encourage me to vote for them either.

Having said that, Trump will win because the Dems are following the same strategy that lost them the election last time. They are preaching to their choir (as they have to in the Primary) and ignoring what rural voters hold dear. It doesn't matter if the Dem nominee wins 51% of California, or 100% in the General election - they get the same number of electors. That's the problem. Their policies are taking far left positions that play well in the cities, but are opposed by rural voters. i.e. imagination and gun control.

So I hope that dope smoker who likes to climb mountains runs again.

I'm an Obama voter who voted 3rd party in 16' and will almost certainly (unless Tulsi gets the nomination) be voting Trump in 2020.

Now I know I'm like literally a Nazi and always have been because white enough male!!

But I'm far from being a rarity....lots of white/white enough middle/working class oppressor scum that were democrats who've been alienated by the intersectional bigots on the left that will be voting "fuck you" in 2020.

Could you clarify for us what exactly it is that rural voters hold dear?

Individual civil and private property rights for starters.

I'm not a "progressive" Democrat crying and begging for ethno-socialism because I'm incapable of making it in a market economy based on voluntary exchanges.....so no.

Who is demanding "ethno-socialism"? What does that even mean?

Translation: Just because Republicans have 99% white representation in both chambers of Congress does not mean they’re being exclusionary. They identify with blacks just as comfortably as with their own race.
