And the 'guarantees' include -
- A comprehensive, immediate ceasefire across all fronts (including allied groups).
- An end to assassination/targeted strikes attributed to the other side.
- Reparations/compensation for war damages and losses.
- Sovereignty/recognition of Iran’s rights over the Strait of Hormuz (or guarantees about its control).
- International guarantees and verifiable assurances that the aggression will not be repeated.
The US and Israel to quit the war.
The US to pay for the repairs to the damage they have caused.
Legal recognition that they control Strait of Hormuz, (so they can presumably can charge whatever they like for ships to use it, and close as and when mood takes them).
With 'International guarantees and verifiable assurances that the aggression will not be repeated' so no-one can do anything about the previous 'guarantee' when they impose it, or kick start their nuclear programme again.
Doesn't sound like Iran are desperate to end it does it?

Maybe they figure Trump will roll over and agree to all of them just to get the hell out of there and I can see how, for him and his supporters, that would be seen as a 'win' right now.
