#Trumpghazi

You mean assassination of a sovereign nations general is not OK?

On the soil of a supposed ally sovereign nation already in harms way should be added here.

Good riddance on the general. We'll see how the Impeached Trump administration has prepared for the backlash. Has Trump himself doubled his bodyguards and decided to stay off golf courses or other very open areas for the foreseeable future?

We killed a rat that needed to be killed and by doing so made the World a little bit safer.

Like Saddam? Did that make anyplace safer?

The republicans have wanted to invade Iran for a long time..

Keep at it..Trump.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Maybe Donny will achieve my wish of total human annihilation for me?

I'm not expressing jubilation, though I'm always glad to hear when evil is stopped in its tracks. I know you think Trump is the biggest threat in the World and can't wait until somebody kills him, but regular Americans are happy today that this Iranian menace to the human race and his assistants are dead. Freedom loving Iraqi's are cheering:

you didn't do that when obama took down the criminal who committed the most terrorist act on american soil.

Good thing Trump put them all on the Terrorist List. I am sure that means the US can kill whomever it wants.

You forget Obama decided he could kill any American overseas he wanted by drone. And he killed a bunch of other people by drone too. I'm sure you complained. I just wasn't paying attention.
Qassim Soleimani was admired by Obama, perhaps because he was so successful at killing Americans in uniform, but I applaud Trump for having him killed.
Many here see this as a recipe for more turmoil in the Middle East. I see his death as the possibility for less.

And if it comes to that, it's better to get this conflict with Iran out of the way before those crazies are capable of detonating nukes in Israel and the U.S.

No I didn't. Obama overused drones and made his own messes. He opened a bad can of worms.

However he is retired and the current POTUS is re-applying for his job. And escalating a war where he is the one picking the fight when he campaigned on ending the endless wars is the question at hand. And he neutered the treaty that was de-escaltaing the nuke situation in Iran, no matter what your fake news tells you.

As far as the dead General being good at killing Americans, WTF do you think American generals do??? They are good at killing people in other uniforms as well. So do those countries get to drone-assassinate our generals with impunity?

You couldn't possibly know what my reaction was since I wasn't here, but in general I gave him credit for finally getting the job done, despite his misgivings about doing so.

The justification for that has been set up, yes. Even to go after Trump himself in the United States or anywhere he goes internationally now.

Not advocating it; just saying the Trump administration (not the United States, as he is not including anyone else in the responsibility) has no moral high ground here. Iran has grounds to get a war crimes conviction in the International Court now (not that that functionally has much effect), which isn't the best credential for getting a Nobel Peace Prize.

Again, what's really important here--no one but Iran cares that this general was offed--is whether the Trump administration has looked ahead to protecting what will now be the targets of an Iran with very good clandestine operations networks throughout the world. There's no indication Trump and associates have done this. Retribution ten fold is an age-old concept in the Middle East. There's a good reason this Iranian leader wasn't canceled out years ago.

RG is already stocking up on cans of corn. Stay away from the creamed variety, middle eastern ladies.

you were here. we all know that.

Trumpghazi is trending nicely.

Ted Cruz already had a sweet, sweet meltdown about it. :)

Must've hit close to the mark to get the peanut gallery fired up.

They know what the perils of all this are.

Trump is everything to them; he can't fail. When he does, they're going to be lost as human beings. Their responses give them away.

Meanwhile, the rest of us will continue on with our lives. :rose:

Oh my. Another meme. I'm shattered. Such incisive commentary. Truly remarkable. How ever will I survive such a brutal take down.

Multiple back to back posts, memes and the usual rationalizing. No real surprises.

Vette's patriot games erection over these current events is so Viagra solid that he's having a second birthday today. Never seen this mofo so deliriously happy-hawkish.

He's even posting more in disposable blurts than his froggy racist shitstain buddy who's N-wording it all over the map in that other thread of his...and that's saying something.

All hands on deck.
