There is film footage of FEMA and Homeland security stumped by the blocked roads. Film crews from news services recorded deserted streets, with no activity.

Distribution problem? Never heard of airdrops?
-.
Nevertheless airdrops are an option. There may not be many places a helicopter can land yet in Puerto Rico. It's a hurricane-torn tropical island, not the desert.
Chopers don't have to land, CH-47s can sling load a ton of supplies and drop it off with out having to land. Blackhawks and Green Giants can too. Parachutes cost a hell of a lot more than cargo nets.

So, why are you mucking around with technicalities of what an air drop is?
It's stuff flown in by air, which would include slinging it in. Go do something useful rather than nitpicking.

Should I have said "air supply" instead of 'airdrops'??
I was not trying to specify method, but to suggest approach. Not all transport is across the earth's surface. Clearing roads is vital, yes, but IIRC the USA military has some experience with landing supplies in hostile terrain.
And 'they' (White House, agencies, military) apparently could have started relief efforts days sooner, but didn't, because clusterfuck at the top. No excuse for not flying-in aid.
Rather than 'nitpicking' Pilot why can't you acknowledge that you are not completely knowledgeable about every thing.
I'm not knowledgeable about everything and never claimed I was. I also don't comment on everything, especially things I'm not knowledgeable about.
Now it's your turn. I really think this is more your sin than mine.
I can believe you believe that Pilot.
As has been pointed out, such tees can be made in minutes -- in seconds, with iron-on letters. No custom printing needed. But as also has been noted, custom-print jobs can be done in minutes, too. I know, you'd rather see her in a wet silk tee, bra-less, nipples hard, excited at the prospect of... presidential paper towels. Yowzah!Besides, they don't need supplies. The mayor of San Juan can get everyone custom-printed t-shirts. Funny how she doesn't seem to be suffering...at all. It's like the politicians on that island have been robbing it for decades.
