Hi to all the wonderful people out there.

Since a lot of people have rooms/threads so people can pop in and say hi. I thought I'd add my own.

As you can tell from my name - travel is of interest to me so I thought it would be interesting to see where everyone is from when they say hi.

Love to hear from all of you and know where in the world you are

Hiya trvllady

Congrats on your new thread, I'm in the middle of a very wet and stormy England :)

hi there gang

I think as long as we are talking about beautiful places a little closer to home you have to mention Algonquin park - sitting on a rock outcrop jutting into a lake with nothing but the wolves for company is about as good as it gets... well... unless you brought a playmate to enjoy it with...

Yes it is a beautiful area to be in - we have many here like that............all are much better with a playmate.

Ed2k68 - Glad to see you. Have a happy Independence Day. I am aware of some of the intriguing monuments that have been erected in the Capitol and would love to see some of them

Behindthewheel - Hello in England. I have heard the South is a beautiful area to live in. :rose:

Sadie - Nothing wrong with opinions, we all have them. As for accent - I haven't noticed any..... Thanks for the congrats

Essa - Hopefully your stormy weather passes soon.

Sofftey- I agree Australia is wonderful and the people are so friendly. I am sure that they are in Flrida too.

Lovin69- Waving back to you in Walla Walla.

Just a big thank you to everyone who has stopped by.....It is so interesting seeing where everyone is from that meets here on Lit and sometimes become friends.

For all of you in the United States - Have a Happy 4th of July !!!! :nana: :nana:

thank you

which place you have visited is your favourite?

I think I would have to say Ireland. Although there are some nice Caribbean islands too..........depending on what I want out of a trip.

Then there is always our weekend place - the little getaway from reality we have.

What about yours? :rose:

Much easier for you to get there than for me - way too many planes to take.

We are quite lucky here I think we can get to almost anywhere. Though I'd love to do a US coast to coast roadtrip......that would be cool. :)

Hi, I'm from England, London specifically where we are having some serious climate abberations at the moment, as anyone following the tennis will know.

I've been to many places around the world, but still have Asian and Australasia to tackle. Hope to put that right in the next few years.

I know how easy it is to get places from the UK - London is a major connecting hub from Canada.

I would love to do a road trip in the southern states. Coastal trips would be good too. ;)

Hi! Just outside London at the moment and will be in San Francisco next week :D
