thanx for your support, every bit helps. I am glad to have done my time, but not glad about the things that I saw/heard/had to do....some people dont realize the pain that we have gone through, just so that they Can sit stateside, warm and cozy enjoying all of these wonderful liberties. I am glad to see that some people do have the courtesy to acknowledge what we did/do for them. Vent session over, thus endeth the lesson...lol

I'm just now getting over dry socket from having my wisdom teeth out 2 weeks ago. I can finally eat again!!

I'm on my second week of classes and a little overwhelmed, but I managed to go out last night and let off some steam with my honeybunch

Tonight I went to a friend's place and we watched Alias and Napoleon Dynamite. Both totally kicked ass!!

So, in summary, it's been an okay week. Off to download the ND soundtrack.....

I saw ND last weekend...and frankly I must have missed the point. I mean, I understand that it wasn't really supposed to have a point...but it had less than most. There were some funny parts...but mostly I just tried to stay awake.

As for my week, lol, its been one of those weeks, third week of classes, cant get my butt in gear, likely because its the last term ever unless i go to do a masters....in a year, the deep colds setting in, gotta love winter, so i spend have my time shivering in my basement apartment and the other half shivering walking to class. plans for reading week bailed

the girl in my lifes was confusing me to hell and back , finally got a straight answer out of her, not that it really did much good, nothings changing til she figures her shit out which is good but, dammit, im not gonna be around next year for when she has her shit together.
and on top of that i have to work tommorrow morning at 7 when its gonna be minus 20 so i wont wanna get out of bed but then again theres no one there to share the bed with anyway

Sounds like you're having a rough month Blue. Just think...it's almost over though and hopefully February will be better.

It is mostly a New York City thing. Like The Bronx is known as the BX, the X, BX, Boogie Down(old school term). Brooklyn is called BK at times as well. You would have to live in the City to know this.

My week was great! We had a public holiday on Wednesday, which meant nothing to me - I still worked in the morning, but my special friend had the day off, and took Thursday and Friday (my weekend) as well, so we could play.

I trained an extra day this week too, because my friend was here and it was worth making the drive to my coach's house on Wednesday. So I'm tired, but happy with my improvements in my sport!

I got my screenname from a friend of mine... It's a long story, but I used to scrunch my nose up, tilt my head to the side and ask "Cake?" when I didn't understand something. It ended up being a very versatile "I don't understand" word, e.g., "It's all cake to me"... I have a good friend who's a rocket scientist, and when we were becoming friends, when he was talking about me to his other friends, to clarify which person I was, he'd say "cake girl"... And it stuck!

LOL...well I guess there could be worse foods to be associated with....asparagus, brussel sprouts, etc....If I had to pick a food...it'd definitely be cake, or ice cream, or chocolate, or....
