23 university....no end in sight...guess this is the place for me. procrastination is a forte of mine although methodology changes from day to day....
and horay for ice cream

Hi phdbio! Wouldn't it be nice if the way we procrastinated was the same from day to day then we could just eliminate the temptation. But like you said....every day is different. I'm sure I could find a way to procrastinate in a dark empty room if given the opportunity...

Welcome to the thread....

Today is my last day of my break.:( I have to go to colege tomorrow with a chance of snow. It sucks being in NYC now. If ym school would have waited one more week.

*waves goodbye at any free time till Febuary*

Good luck tomorrow!! Have fun and be good in Class ;)

When I was an undergrad, I went to school in a MUCH warmer climate than where I'm living now. The first day of class in January, temps were in the high 80s. It was sunny and beautiful. I got togther with a friend after class and we jumped in our bikinis, laid out in the sun, and drank iced tea. (sigh).....those were the days.

That was me up until about a week ago. I was laying out by the pool, sunning myself. But, alas, it appears the unseasonably warm weather is done, and it is currently 55 out....no bikini for me today.....

*sighs* nothing, but snow in NYC. Went back to school today. It was okay because I have only two classes. On Fridays done 1:15 :D Tomorrow is my crazy day. I got classes from 10:45am-4:30pm. I heard on the forecast NYC might get a foot of snow this weekend. *prays for snow day Monday*

10:45 to 4:30!!!! OUCH....what were you thinking when you made that schedule?? LOL...not really though. I know what it's like to have to cram as many classes as possible in...I'll pray for a snow day for you too on Monday Gemini...but I really don't think I have much pull with the big guy...

Thanks for the prayer, My. To answer your question, my school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday have 1 hour classes. On Tuesday and Thursday we have 90 minute classes and between 12:10pm-1:30pm we have a "common hour" where clubs meet. That is why I got 10:45-4:30. It is a hassle. I just wanted to fall in my bed when I got in today. I am on my bed now.

Yeah. I did my bookshopping. I spent over 200 dollars for books. my bakn account is down to 23 dollars. Man, I wish I didn't lose my wallet during the holidays. That missing money would be good now :( :(

Guess most people doing schoolwork and have no time for Lit. I better start doing some schoolwork, but I need to buy one more book.

The prices of books are INSANE! I spent over 400 bucks...just for three classes! I seriously wonder how much of a profit the publishing house makes, as well as the text book store. If I didn't always need them so quickly I would seriously buy them all used on Amazon and rebel against the text book store!

Yeah...I just realized that I've probably spent like a total of an hour on lit since classes started....School is seriously sucking out my will to live...

I brought 2 of my 4 books used. One new book costed 98.00 and the other was about 45.00. I have to argee with you, My. Buy used.

Now just to keep my 2.0 for another semester. Damn weak freshman year.

LOL...that was 400 bucks while buying as many of them used as I could....didn't seem to matter.

Don't worry about it...Freshman year doesn't count anyway...

LOL...rheltman....I'm not laughing at you I swear....your tone in your post just struck me as funny.

Anyway....my life having taken a different direction than yours, I find I have very little advice to offer...none in fact that wouldn't sound stupid or cliche.

I will say though, from the bottom of my great big heart...thank you for serving our country. I have much love and respect for our soldiers both past and present.

Welcome to the thread...hope to see you around again....:)

maybe it's a little late now, but www.addall.com is a great website that lets you compare prices of used/new books being sold online.

I bookmarked that page Dollface. Thanks so much!! It's too late this semester, I've already forked over half my lifes savings to the stupid text book gods...but there's always next semester!!

How's everyone's week going?? Mine's shit. Had to have a kitten put down that I was planning on adopting because she was sick...tore my heart out :(
