Gabriel
"Yeah, come on, do your worst," he winked and turned his side to Nicola who glanced at his wound critically and sighed.
"Why can't you be more like other guys, eh?" she joked. "You're always getting hurt, cut, bruised. And then I have to patch you up. Brace yourself, this will sting," Nicola warned as she cleaned the wound and applied the antiseptic.
Gabriel frowned when he felt liquid fire poured into the gash in his skin but clenched his teeth and didn't even hiss, although sweat beaded on his forehead. "What can I say?" he panted "I'm me, right?"
"I guess, okay, I'll bandage it now. Sorry if it hurt. Hey, you okay? You look kinda pale?" Nicola asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, carry on, sis," he ushered her on and she started wrapping his arm in a bandage. "Tighter," he mumbled.
"It'll hurt ya, Gabe," she warned.
"Yeah, for a moment. But if it's too loose it might slip overnight. I don't want to bleed all over the bed. Someone might think I practice voodoo or somesuch," Gabriel joked although he felt as if her were going to collapse.
"There, all done for ya and tax free," Nicola chirped and clasped her hands, proud of her neat work.
"Thanks, I ope you don't mind that I'll faint now," he muttered as his vision filled with blurred noise and unconscious he fell right on his sister.
