The courts in the United States of America regard resisting arrest as a separate charge or crime in addition to other alleged crimes committed by the arrested person. It is possible to be charged, tried and convicted on this charge alone, without any underlying cause for the original decision to arrest.

"Saturday Night Special" was simply a derisive term used by anti-gunners for an affordable handgun of ANY caliber often low caliber meaning .32 not typically .22. Few were made .22 caliber. This is because .22 caliber is a target pistol suitable for plinking, and with good accuracy, dueling. People buy .22 because the ammo is affordable. An armed robber or someone using a gun for self defense does not mind paying 65 cents apiece for 5, 6, 11, or 13 bullets

People like RacistDownSouth were opposed to the affordable guns by such manufacturers as Davis and Phoenix Arms because they were wanting to keep these self-defense weapons out of the hands of #ThosePeople as RacistDownSouth likes to call blacks. Rob also dislikes guns like the common .32 caliber derringer because it can be concealed in a purse and brought to bear on him as he shoves the woman enroute to the armed security guard.

The analogy he should be making to make is a .40 vs a 9mm but they are more or less comparable.

Neither are "HIGH POWERED WEAPONS!!" even by Brady/Bloomberg derpitude.

I will admit that compared to a rubber band, a .40 is "high powered."

An arrest is simply being detained against your wishes. Cops do it all the time while they sort out a scene and decide if there are any charges or citations that need to be issued.

Bailing out of a car and running is resisting arrest, even if the cops never do figure out what you thought they had on you.
