Autumn, a time of mellow fruitfulness? Or just bloody brassy mornings??

I am going to say it all depends on how much the dew has turned from a lovely morning picture to an icy pavement deathtrap.

Currently I am leaning towards the brassic but i think that is due to the mornings up north feeling progressively colder. The temperatures are creeping down and the sun getting lazier to rise out of bed unfortunately.

Indeed, the cycle to work this morning was still shorts but needed long sleeves... and sunglasses as the sun is low at this time of year. At least the harvest started to get properly done 😊

After a tail end of weather that slumped into soggyness it was great today to get out and do some hillwalking in the sun. Really really good actually. I hope your weekend was equally as enjoyable.

Hi Folks, hope everyone is OK just checking in to move us from page 10.
Laters

Morning, sun is shining, stockings and heels are on, what's not to like!!

Does this get us to page 11?? Even though we are on page 28?? Mm, maybe the sun has got to us all?

*pokes nose in and spots a few familiar faces*

Af'noon everyone :)

Afternoon, definitely not good, off we go into social isolation but at least we can keep working and educating this time. Was out in a northern city on Saturday night... now I know why cases are rising - social distancing meant snogging only for 20 seconds andqueueing meant standing so close you could fondle the ass of the person in front, waiters kneeling and talking at the table within a couple of feet and no signs or sanitizer in restaurant toilets.

Hey ho, self destruct button duly pressed.

Yep, some are their own worst enemies up here. Like standing in 2m spaced queue at a pub door in order to pass 20 people 6" apart having a smoke next to it

Good morning one and all . . . how are you enjoying "house arrest" V2?

Not as much as the first incarnation, spent at my parents' house on the edge of Morecambe Bay. This time round I'm back at work in the hotspot that is south-eastern Lancashire.

At least you've got a nice view . . . or voo as they say in the Fens!;)
