I always thought moggies was short for mosquitoes but something about this says I’m wrong… another British-ism I haven’t heard before?

Ugh, chaos in the airport, yeah something tells me that it is best to avoid that stampede.

Yeah as PotNoodle says mozzies or mossies are those pesky mosquitoes but moggies are those loveable felines who rule their worlds
