@metrifonate oh, the umlaut stays! This is a wholly different issue.

So, there is one person ahead of me in the operation line. (Yup, there is a calm and very collected queue of patients waiting for surgery.)

The reason for my operation? So, we all got our own issues and circumstances in life, and we all deal with it differently.

Some of my circumstances have made digesting food very, very complicated for me.

And after years of trying everything twice.. and thrice.. I finally agreed with my dear and very caring doctors: it was about time that I got a pacemaker for my digestion. (Yes, a pacemaker)

The last 14 I have been testing it, now they are going to implant the pacemaker inside me.

Phew!!
It is a bit scary to admit.

But.. we never know what the people behind the letters on the screen are going through.
