Shortest month but seems to go on forever. Too far from the end of the last year to retain any feeling of warmth the festive season may have given you, too far from the nice weather to get excited about it.

It is just there to be endured.

Oh.. and I am home, rather sore.. well, yeah.. there is pain.
And maybe a bit shocked.. I have a pacemaker.. inside my body.
The surgery was done while I was awake. 13 out of 10, the most surreal experiences.
(My surgeon kept testing me in "capitals of Europe" while also asking other questions.. oh, and where to go and play golf )

Buuuuuuuuut! I got to keep the wire and I am now the very, very tired owner of a pacemaker for my digestive system.
