Yes it is convenient isnt it, so convenient that if i dont feel better soon the quack wants to stick a camera down my throat for exploration!:mad:

Ah shit, sorry mate.. I was only kidding.

I had similar probs earlier this year; I had really bad indigestion, and stomach/chest pains. As my mum had died of stomach cancer, my mind started working overtime and I convinced myself that I had something similar. I ended up having an endoscopy to find out what was wrong - turned out I have a small hiatus hernia; I was so relieved! The chances of me or anyone having gastric cancer was miniscule, but you know how powerful the mind is?!

If you have an endoscopy, and they give you the choice of being knocked out, or having a local anaesthetic go for being knocked out. I had the local, and it was really, very uncomfortable. Gag reflex cutting in all the time, fucking bad it was - longest 2 minutes of my life. Eyes watering... shit, I shudder when I think of it.

Not really selling it am I?! LOL But it's the best way to find out what's wrong. I'm sure it'll be nothing serious, but best wishes for a speedy recovery anyway; I hear bluefoxylady is a top nurse :D
